7. The Navigating a changing climate coalition
Ten partners, nearly 30 supporters and four ongoingworking groups
are dedicated to climate change issues
• PIANC Working Group 176 is now preparing technical guidance on the practical application of the Working with Nature philosophy to inland and maritime navigation infrastructure projects
• PIANC Working Group 178 is preparing guidance on climate change adaptation for inland and maritime navigation infrastructure
• PIANC’s new technical Working Group 188 will develop guidance on carbon management for port and navigation infrastructure projects
• PIANC Working Group 193 is starting a report about resilience of maritime and inland waterborne transport system
