The mansion’s design incorporates elements from Eastern and Western cultures. It’s a mix of classic and modern.

The townhouse’s original 19th century façade has been restored but the inside of the home has been transformed

into a modern mansion. The innovative design introduces abundant natural daylight and additional elements such

north-south orientation provides light throughout the

day, highlighted by 14-foot sloped full height curtain

walls at the front and back facades. A new 50- foot

light well rising through the center of the home also

draws daylight into the property and improves natural

ventilation. There are also more than 40 custom-made

windows and skylights in the mansion to ensure

spaces would be naturally illuminated throughout the

day.

Due to the commercial egress code compliance, each staircase has two metal fire

rated doors with fire detective sensors that would close automatically when there is

a fire emergency.

All indoor maple wood doors including closet doors were customized and crafted at

the site for over 9 months. All the closet doors have a built-in on and off auto switch

system.

• STAIRCASE

The interior of the home includes a detached staircase accented by a Venetian

plaster finish along with nine to 12-foot ceiling heights on each floor.

The mansion features many green aspects with over 2,000 sqt roof gardenwhere

one can grow tomatoes and there is real green grass on the 1,000-foot terrace

• Gallery is commercially zoned: can be leased or

utilized as a private gallery or as an extension of the

private residence

• The mansion’smostunique“West-Meets- East” feature

is the 23-foot high by 20-foot wide indoor waterfall –

which cascades into a reflecting pool that is surrounded

by a sculpture garden, next to the gallery floor. A

sculpture garden at the base of the double height

waterfall provides a space for quiet contemplation,

while the dramatic height allows the fall’s soothing

sounds to travel throughout the space. The waterfall

also provides a sense of serenity, light and drama to the

ground floor gallery space.

• Gallery floor (horizontal) and waterfall (vertical wall)

are both made with natural limestone, all imported

directly from Italy. The elegant “limestone carpet”

extends from the front door and climbs up the waterfall

to the ceiling.

• Waterfall feature: The two-story sloped waterfall

wall required waterfall specialists and structure

engineers to fine-tune its pressure and flow. The

strategic concept was to have the water splash in

such a way that is maximally soothing to the human

ear because it is indoors and part of a residence. The

sub structures of the waterfall are jointed with 9

pieces of fiberglass to adjust to any kind of move-

ment for its magnificent scale while enhancing

structural enforcement. It features an adjustable

wave action digitized controller, which allows you to

program a particular wave size and different

patterns. This will allow the wave patterns to be

changed from 20 feet away.
