Gallatin baseball goes outside to work out next week after hard work in the center these few weeks. Pulling hard for Miles Wanstrath and teammates. New Green Wave football coaches getting to know players and fans. Friendship, Goodpasture, Pope John Paul do well in the Spring. Lebanon get-ting another new school. Wilson Central happy with Spring getting here. Word has it that Nascar racing wants back in Nashville as rumors spread about a new stadium in east side of Nashville. Titans stadium just to bring in Major League Baseball. Little guys baseball, soccer starting. Have not seen best friend John McKinney who helped start summer baseball for teenage guys. My, ohh my, how it has grown from Russ Melvin / McKinney days. Softball for men...not as many teams but still competitive. Cumberland University and Middle will have good baseball and Bob Dorris, a Portland lad, works every game for the nations number one rated college baseball team. That is power packed Vanderbilt. Sonny Grey who threw several touchdown passes against the Wave while playing at Smyrna, is pitching in the Majors. Back to the refs I believe. Now help get me information on your local young men and women from your town. We want to be your local voice. Vol State head basketball coach pulled off big wins with the help of a young man from Macon County. Only a couple of Vol State basketball games left here at home.
