SEPTEMBER 20, 2020— TWENTY-FIFTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

Coronavirus and our Parish — until end of Phase II:

1) We have returned to our normal Mass, Confession and Adoration schedules. There are capacity restr ictions. We have marked spacing in the church to accommodate the 6 foot social distancing protocol. In this way, persons of unrelated households can maintain 6 feet of distance in all of our seating. This would bring total capacity, if all are unrelated, to 60 persons in the church and vestibule. However because households may sit together that number may increase to a maximum limit of 125 persons, or 35% of total capacity. PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE OR ALTER THE YELLOW MARKINGS IN ANYWAY AND DO NOT SIT IN ANY PEW THAT IS BLOCKED WITH YELLOW TAPE.

2) To accommodate more parishioners, each Mass will be broadcast into the gym onto a large screen, and those attending will be brought communion. Additionally we had made provision for the Blessed Sacrament to be on reserve in the gym during the weekend so that those present may pray in the presence of our Lord. The total limit for participants is 60 persons of unrelated households, and no more than 100 persons in total.

3) Please note only the 8:30am Mass in English, and the 1:30pm Mass in Spanish will be publicly live-streamed to our youtube channel. (Link is on previous page.)

4) Precautions during Mass: The previous protocols for sanitizing of communion ministers and servers hands, omission of sign of peace, and keeping safe distance in communion lines remain in force. We will have the offertory baskets on tables in front of the first pews. You may drop your donation in the basket when you come up to receive Communion or before or after Mass. If there is a second collection, there will be 2 baskets on each table. The blue basket is for the second collection. Communion will only be distributed in the center aisle, please remember to keep your distance as you file up the center aisle. We ask that those seated in the transepts walk to the back and down the center aisle once the middle section has received Communion. Those wishing to wear masks during the Mass are welcomed to do so, we just ask that you remove them before you receive Communion. We also ask that you do not return your bulletin to the pile and that you take your bulletin with you. We are also now using different “Parts of the Mass” papers that should also not be returned to the pile after Mass.

Please continue to keep the sick and all our health care workers in your prayers.

SPECIAL COLLECTION This Sunday is

SHARE SUNDAY.

Please place non-perishable food (no

glass containers) or monetary donations in the baskets provided. Share Sunday donation envelopes may be placed in the regular collection.

Schedule Change Because of the Confirmation Masses this week,

there will be NO regular Spanish Mass on Wednesday, September 23

and NO Adoration or Confessions on Thursday, September 24.

during the 2019 - 2020 school year. Eligible students were provided nutritious weekend meals throughout school year. Food was purchased with donations from civic and community groups, individuals, and many churches including St. Therese. The real strength of CHEW is the many volunteers that give of their time and energy to staff the distribution centers and prepare the food items for distribution to assigned schools. Special thanks to all our St. Therese volunteers that helped with this important work this year. This program will continue for the 2020 - 2021 school year starting September 21. 20 SEPTIEMBRE, 2020— 25º DOMINGO DEL TIEMPO ORDINARIO
