A Christmas Poem from your Nominating Committee
T'was the night before Christmas and all through the church the Nominating Committee
was in a bit of a lurch.
Who will fill these positions and leadership roles?
Should we write to Santa Address: North Pole?
With Covid and the Call Committee search for a pastor
(and by the way can't we find someone much faster?)
We still need a person to head Altar Guild
There's also a Stewardship chair to be filled, and Golly folks, there really is nothing to fear
the Nominating Committee only has four meetings a year, so sign up for Nom. Com. or better yet -chair!
And keep up the prayers So our spirits stay bright
and until the happy day we can all reunite Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.

ANGEL TREE OF LOVE!
You have shared your blessings with our Church Family to make it a wonderful
Christmas for them!
Thank you so much for your kindness that provided most items on their lists as well as a supply of food and household needs!
Other members have made specific donations that have gone beyond generous and have provided much needed support!
The spirit of Christmas is alive and well! Lives have been changed! Amazing love!

"Thanks to all who participated in our coat and belt drive for the homeless. With your generosity, we collected several dozen coats and belts that will be distributed to those in
need in our area. Thanks and have a blessed Christmas, Steve"
THANK YOU

The LMS Compassion Place food distribution in response to the COVID-19 pandemic
continues to provide nourishment to families and individuals in need. Since March of
this year — through eleven Compassion Centers — over 12,000 families/individuals
have been helped with well over 421,000 pounds of food.
The donations of generous Compassion Place supporters — including caring individuals,
churches, and community organizations — along with the hard work and selfless dedi-
cation of LMS volunteers and staff, have made this vital ministry possible. In addition,
the partnership of Haven City Church at our Fells Point Compassion Center has been an
invaluable blessing to the people we serve together in Jesus’ name.
This ministry is ongoing. Many people are still struggling during this time, having a hard
time making ends meet. Please send your financial gift today to partner with us in this
effort of compassion to “feed Jesus’ sheep.” Find our Christmas video message and the
DONATE NOW button on our website at: compassionplace.org
