Morton Dear, Chairman
Morton Dear, Executive Chairman of the original Money Store of 1967, was
the pioneer and visionary in developing The Money Store brand, taking it
public and selling it to First Union in 1997. He developed the process of
bundling mortgages to be sold to investors, changing the mortgage industry
forever. Today, Morton Dear remains active in the mortgage industry with
continued out of the box thinking as a key to the success of The Money
Store.
David has an innate ability to work with the investor community to create a
product mix that allows our production group to succeed. His market savvy
as it relates to executing whole loan trades and managing the corporate
hedge position is excellent. He is a visionary with a bias to action, delivering
incredible results with a passion for excellence, and has a keen sense of
market dynamics. His strength lies in the ability to think strategically, man-
