How is your water pressure? The Aquavar ABII pump controller is a constant pressure booster system that is specifically designed for customers of municipal water districts with low water pressure, or if they are boosting from a storage tank. The Aquavar ABII provides an economical answer for both residential and commercial customers who need to increase their water pressure when water demand is high.

How does it work?As water flows to your house, it loses some of its pressure to friction inside the pipe. The higher the flow, the more the friction reduces your water pressure. This flow increase can be caused by more homes and businesses on your water main, the size of your home piping system or increased water use in your house. As water use increases, the Aquavar ABII changes pump speed to keep line pressure constant. Large supply tanks are eliminated and up to 50% of the energy required by a full speed pump is saved. Aquavar ABII is available with a range of flow rates to handle homes with up to four bathrooms, irrigation systems, and fire suppression systems. The Aquavar ABII comes with everything that is needed to plumb it to a residential water line.

Product Feature

The primary function of plant maintenance is to keep equipment in top operating condition. Too often, repairs are made after the breakdown occurs, costing money and potentially causing injuries.

The fact that maintenance is routine in nature does not detract from its importance. A good maintenance program goes a long way toward making everyone more efficient and making your work environment safe. Here are five major points to help you organize your maintenance program -- and catch breakdowns before they happen.

1. Develop an effective set of steps to cover all maintenance work. Then, follow those steps.

2. Establish work schedules to cover routine repeated operations, such as lubricating machines, cleaning windows and lighting fixtures, disposing of scrap, adjusting belt tensions, etc.

3. Provide a plan for handling jobs that only happen once in a while, such as repairing and installing machines.

4. Work with other departments in advance so that you will have spare parts for repairs when needed.

5. Develop a follow-up system to make sure that all these steps and schedules are followed.

Work control is necessary for an efficient and safe maintenance operation. Work control involves planning, scheduling, and follow up of the job. A smooth-flowing paper work system will help to control each job all the way. Work plans should indicate the nature of each job, how it is to be done, the material needed, and the safety precautions required.
