Bricktober 6 & 7 October 2018
What a great weekend thanks to the many Rotarians, Partners and Family, Volunteers, Exhibitors, Vendors and
Costumed Characters that helped out at Bricktober 2018. Ascot second year at Curtin Stadium was a joy to see the
many happy faces as adults nod children enjoyed viewing the LEGO display, tried out the many competitions,
played with LEGO in the bricks pits, had some food and relaxed watching LEGO short films.
RI President Barry Rassin’s theme for 2018-19 “ Be the Inspiration” was reflected in the LEGO Mosaic build by Ascot
Rotarian Michelle Kendall especially for Bricktober.
Everyone quickly discovered that the Mosaic did not have the rule of ‘Look with your eyes not your hands’ so they
enjoyed running their hands over it.
