God of Hope,we come to you in shock and grief for the

people of ParisHelp us to find peace in the knowledge

of your loving mercy to all your children, and give us light to guide us out of our darkness

into the assurance of your love,We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ who

This week Pope Francis met with French cardinal Andre Vingt-trois, archbishop of Paris, at the

Vatican to express his sympathy and pray with him for the people of Paris

Pope Francis spoke of the victims

"We pray for the victims of this cruelty, so many of them. And we pray

also for the perpetrators of such cruelty, that the Lord might change

their hearts,“

We pray for all those who have lost their lives in this terrible incident

Eternal rest, grant unto them O LordAnd let the perpetual light shine upon themMay they rest in peace
