Successful applicants must strive to learn excellent Japanese and to raise their
badminton competitiveness actively, allowing themselves to becomes models of
overseas students in the school.

Japanese Language School.
2-year College- Preparatory Course.
Successful candidates who wish to pursue upper studies may go on to
universities, junior colleges and specialized training schools after graduation.
Otherwise, graduates will be required to return to their own countries /regions.

◆Admission Requirements
The following individuals are eligible to apply for the scheme:
(1) High school graduates or those who completed higher education (or
those who completed 12- year general education).
(2) Those who completed, a course, which constitutes the eligibility for
entrance into universities, colleges or other schools of higher grade, in
countries other than Japan.
(3) Graduates from higher education institutions such as universities in
foreign countries.
(4) Sincere and, diligent persons who are eager to learn.
(5) Excellent and competitive badminton players, with solid experience
and proven records at international tournaments and domestic
competitions.
(6) Those who devote efforts to continuous improvement of badminton
skills after admission, and are keen on participating in the Japan local
tournaments.
(7) Those who have financial sponsors to take the responsibilities for the
payment of applicant’s tuition fees and expenses in Japan.
◆◆◆◆Application Period
2-year College-Preparatory Course: October 2014 ~ January 2015
Applicants may send their application form with proof of their competition
records to our school in advance.

◆◆◆◆Selection Procedure
(1) Document screening
(2) Interview : Both applicants and their financial sponsors who are
responsible for the payment of applicant’s school fees and expenses.
(Home visits may be conducted by our school when necessary.)
(3) Practical skill screening
Interview and Practical skill screening will be conducted in
applicant’s local areas. Applicants will be notified of the examination
date beforehand.
◆◆◆◆Application Result Notification
Applicants will be notified of the application result within one week after the
completion of the selection procedure. Successful applicants shall submit all
required documents of the application, e.g. admission application form, etc. The
school will handle the entry visa application and submission to the Immigration
Department for successful applicants. However, if the entry visa application is
rejected, the application of such applicants to our school will be considered as
failed and disqualified accordingly.
◆◆◆◆Application Procedures
(1) All application forms must be hand-written by applicants or their
financial sponsors.
(2) No cross-outs or uses of correction fluids/tapes are allowed. In case
of any mistakes made, please use a new application form.
(3) Any documents in a language other than Japanese must be attached
with a Japanese translation.
(4) Supplementary documents or supporting documents in addition to the
required documents stated below, if any, can be attached to
application documents during submission.
(5) All documents should be original. In the case of any copied
documents, in specified blank spaces (top right corner), date the
creation dates, sign with creator’s name of that copies and state
his/her relationship with applicants. (Example) Date of the copy
made: January 1, 2015 / Creator of the copy: Taro Heisei, father
◆◆◆◆Documents submission by applicant
(1) Admission application form (specified form).
(2) Résumé (specified form), Reasons for studying at our school: state
clearly what the applicant would like to study at our school and what
he would like to do in the future.
This form shall be filled in Japanese if the applicant had already
passed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N2 or its
equivalent.
(3) Proof of Tournaments/Competitions Records
submit on/before 31 October 2014
(4) Proof of highest academic level and qualification
Certificate must be mailed to our school directly by the issuing
authorities.
(a) Graduation Certificate (highest academic level and qualification)
(b) Graduation Photo (highest academic level and qualification)
(c) Academic transcript (highest academic level and qualification)
(5) Proof of applicant’s Japanese language proficiency.
Submit one of the following:
(a) Copy of the Japanese language proficiency test or its result
report card
(b) J. TEST result card (for submission to the immigration office.)
(c) NAT-TEST result card
(d) Certificate for Japanese language learning (proof of having
studied Japanese language for at least 150 hours or above)
(e) Documents issued by the previous enrolled Japanese language
institutes.
(6) Proof of applicant’s family structure. State each family member’s
education qualifications and their occupations.
(7) Three (3) passport photos (4cm×3cm).
One photo shall be affixed on the application form for admission;
applicant’s full name and date of birth shall be written on the back of
two other photos. (Photos printed with digital cameras are not
accepted.)
(8) Personal contact lists. (specified form)
(9) Application fee of 21,000 Japanese Yen (This fee is non-refundable
regardless of the application results.)
(10) Proof of the applicant’s employment history, if any.
If the applicant is (was) employed, certificates of employment from
all former and current company employers are required.
(11) Proof of the applicant’s income, if any.
If the applicant is (was) employed, tax return documents and pay slips
from all former and current company employers are required.
(12) Copy of applicant’s passport (if available)
(a) Page containing the applicant’s full name, passport number
and photo
(b) Pages containing the applicant’s records of emigration and
immigration
Documents (2), (3), (4), (5)(d),(10) and (11) must be in Japanese.

For financial sponsor living overseas
(1) Pledge of payment of fees and expenses (specified form).
(2) Proof of relationship between financial sponsor and applicant. e.g.
notarized document, proving the relationship by blood or marriage.
(3) Proof of financial sponsor’s family structure. State each family members
education qualifications and their occupations.
(4) Original bank statements and bank account balance
(5) Proof of fund formation specifics. e.g. copies of the bankbooks(all
pages), etc.
(6) Statement explaining the specifics of the fund formation (specified
form).
(7) Proof of sponsor’s occupation. Copy of certificate of corporate
registration for sponsor who is an employee of a company. If the sponsor
is self-employed, copy of his/her company’s corporate registration is
required.
(8) Certificates of income and tax payment (issued by company). Pay slips
and income tax returns for the last 3 years.
(9) Tax payment certificate issued by the tax office (if available).
(10) Copy of Business license (Sponsor who is self-employed must submit).
All documents (1), (2), (6), (7), (8), and (10) must be in Japanese. Otherwise,
please attach Japanese translations to the original documents.
For financial sponsor livings in Japan
(1) Resident Registration or Certificate of Foreign Resident Registration
of all members of sponsor’s family
(2) Proof of relationship between financial sponsor and applicant. E.g.
notarized document, proving the relationship by blood or marriage.
