The Scholastic Book Fair
The book fair is coming to Willow Bank Primary on Thursday 21st November 2019 to Wednesday 27th November 2019 in the playground at the end of the school day or in the hall if it is wet.
We look forward to seeing there!
We would love to see how well your children are doing with their Children’s University
Passports and would like to take a look at how close they are to receiving their bronze, silver and gold awards. Please ensure your child brings their Passport into school on Monday so that their points can be recorded.
Can we remind parents the legal age for WhatsApp is 16 years due to data protection and
Wellbeing Award Willow Bank is working towards the ‘Wellbeing Award for Schools’. As part of this we need to seek parents’ and carers’ views around how well being is approached at our school. A link will be sent to you via ParentMail and we would be very grateful if you could please support us by completing the questionnaire
as this will help to in-form and improve our practice. Thank you in advance!
Polite Reminder to Parents Can we please remind parents that children must not be left unattended when coming to Magic Breakfast. Parents must stay with their children until the hall doors open at 8.30am and the children go in. Thank you!

Magic Breakfast - free Bagel
Polite reminder that children arrive at Bagel Club at 8.30 and it closes at 8.40 and no entry will be permitted after this time
Children must not be left unsupervised before 8am. This is a safeguarding concern and we therefore remind parents that their child(ren) need to be supervised prior to the door being opened at 8.30am. Pupils should not be dropped off
prior to this time. Thank you for your support!
Polite Reminder: We have a no nuts policy at the school so could you please ensure that your child’s lunch does not contain any nuts due to allergies within the school.
Polite Reminder Could we please re-mind you parent to please park with care when collecting their children. Parking on
the pavement is illegal and could result in a parking ticket and fine. Also it creates a danger for both children & other pedestrians who can’t access the pavement. Can we also be polite to our neighbours and keep our community safe and friendly for all.

A Polite Reminder About Our School Uniform
Polite reminder of the correct uniform and footwear to be worn by the children. Boys & Girls - Royal blue cardigan (with or without the school emblem), White polo shirt (with or without the school emblem) Girls - Grey skirt/pinafore or smart grey trousers (not fashion trousers) with grey socks or tights, blue and white school dresses may be worn in summer with white socks, black flat sensible school shoes (No Trainers) & plain hair bands Boys -Grey trousers and grey socks, grey shorts may be worn in the summer term, black School shoes (no boots/trainers) P.E. KIT (boys and girls) White, round necked t-shirt (with or without the school emblem), black shorts, Black plimsolls for indoor PE, trainers for outdoor PE, PE bag with drawstring top, Royal blue track suits may be for outside in winter.
All clothes must be clearly marked with your child’s name. Any lost property
might have been handed into lost property by the playground exit .
Polite reminder for children to bring in a coat as the weather is getting colder now and could you please ensure that your child’s name is inside.
