We’re not going to show you or to tell you much about Italy. This presentation is more about our area and about our life as young people. Just a few basic facts about our country and our region before getting to know the Mugello area and us better. There are 20 regions in Italy. The capital is Rome and other important cities are Milan, Naples, Venice and Turin. Our region is called Toscana (Tuscany in English). Its main city is Florence which also has a famous major league football team (Fiorentina) whose emblem is a lily on a purple shirt. Florence is well famous all over the world for its monuments and works of art
