• Web ad template

– BrandMaster can create a web ad template from an existing web ad. A web ad template can be edited and administered in the Template Administration Module in the same manner as templates for print material and email. Users can edit texts and pictures. The template can be reused by changing text and using pictures from the exsiting library to create new web ads.

• SWF file

– The swf file format (pronounced "swiff") can be used to produce movies, animations and banner ads. This is the primary file generated from web ad templates.

– SWF files are displayed in the browser using the Adobe Flash Player plugin.

• Fallback image file

– As not all browsers have the Flash Player plugin installed, a fallback image is often included as part of a web ad and is displayed in browsers that cannot display swf files. The fallback image is either a jpeg or gif image.

– If a web ad template has a fallback image, a zip file containing the swf file and the fallback image is created when a web ad is saved from a template so that both may be sent or downloaded together.
