Social Activity Strategy

You have come to the conclusion that you need a SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGY. You know this because you have joined social networks like Facebook and LinkedIn and see potential to build a community around your brand. You know this because you have interacted with your potential demographic on the micro-blogs of Twitter and Instagram; read their recommendations and reviews on forums such as TripAdvisor and Yelp; peered into their lives through the content communities of YouTube and Flickr. Having been to all of these sites, you have come away thinking you need a SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGY for one reason: the people you want to reach are already there.

However, these Social Media sites are just places, and attempting to target an audience vby only focusing on the Social Media destination where the greatest number happens to be gathering isn’t necessarily going to yield the highest ROI.

That is why we at here at Naartjie Multimedia offer our clients a SOCIAL ACTIVITY STRATEGY. Social Media is simply people talking to people. That’s all. The medium is, indeed, the message, and the message is user-generated. But people are more complex than the room in which they gather. They cannot be fully answered by the question, “Where?” You already know the where.

Our SOCIAL ACTIVITY STRATEGY will answer the WHO, WHAT, WHEN, WHY, and HOW.

As with SEO, social strategies vary greatly in terms of which networks are suitable, what tactics are delivered and how you measure success. Contact us to set up a free Social Activity Assessment Meeting where we will discuss your goals and opportunities.

“We all know that messages in the social media world can become very slanted or narrow in their focus however, they are there. Our city was experiencing challenges beyond the norm when negative social media messages were becoming too prevalent. There was concern among businesses that these negative comments were hampering recruitment efforts of key employees. It was a big, complex and difficult job that needed to be done. Our Chamber along with the Columbus Convention and Visitors Bureau met with NAARTJIE MULTIMEDIA to explore ways to either overcome or to refocus the negative images that were being portrayed. They became our PARTNER.

Realizing that there were no “silver bullets”. NAARTJIE MULTIMEDIA worked with us, exploring ways to offset and reposition information in both the public and private sectors. Their continued searching for ways to address the issues pushed everyone into areas that needed to be addressed in order to find solutions that were sustainable.

Through their efforts, one of our major companies stated that what was a major concern of theirs and a major recruitment hurdle has been greatly diminished.”

“We at the National Infantry Museum are indebted to Naartjie Multimedia for all the help they’ve provided on several fronts. They designed and built an expansive website for us that is attractive, user-friendly AND allows museum staff to generate fresh content. Wes and his team have shown us how to use our own metrics to make decisions about marketing to a national audience through social media. Their recommendation to use affordable Google and social media ads promoting the sale of a limited edition Infantry Silver Dollar helped us raise $2.3 million in a 9-month period. Those ads also went a long way to increasing the size of our online footprint. We appreciate that the folks at Naartjie Multimedia understand the special needs of non-profits, and we appreciate their willingness to help us learn how to help ourselves. When we walk in their office, they drop what they’re doing to pour us a cup of coffee and chat. We may not be their number one customer, but they always make us feel like we are!”

“The Columbus Convention & Visitors Bureau has evolved its marketing strategy to embrace the new media -- social and digital media/advertising. Next year we will more than double our on-line budget. We turned to Naartjie Multimedia to take our need and move our message to where the customer was making its decisions. Their ability to assess our needs and develop a strategy has put a laser beam on our target markets and has been critical to our success. We measure everything to assure the best ROI. Naartjie Multimedia understands the importance of solid analytics and their custom reports are broken down in such a way that they’re easily understood and simple to explain.”
