    Introduction

    Welcome to Populars New Web Cash Manager! This guide will help you navigate and manage thesystem quickly and easily.

    This manual is ocused on the main unctions o the ACH and Wire Transer modules, although italso makes reerence to other unctions. Below is a complete list o all the modules1, the applicationprovides:

    Beore describing each module, the rst section o the manual explains how to navigate the systemand describes the steps to take the rst time you access it.

    Access- Navigation

    1. Access via www.popular.com.2. Under Services for my Business, Press Log in.

    3. Once you reach the new Web Cash Manager (WCM) access screen (see image #1), enter your

    customer number, your User ID and press theSign In button.

    4. On the next screen (see image #2 ), enter your password and pressSign In.

    5. You have now reached the screen where you can set up your authentication process. Enter yourpassword and press Begin Setup(see image #3).

    6. Next, answer the three questions (see image #4). Press Continue Setup.

    7. Your authentication process is complete. Press theAccess WCMbutton.8. The system will request your password (see image #5). Press OK.

    9. Enter your current password and change it to a new one. You must enter it twice. PressSubmit

    10. Now, your user prole will appear on the screen (see image #6). You should update the eldsThe most important is your e-mail address, which is required. Then pressSubmit.

    Main Screen

    On the main screen o the new WCM (see image #7) you have various user options. The screen isdivided into six parts, as described below.

    1. Home/ Alerts/ Messages/ Help/ Logo- Available rom any screen. The Help option is veryuseul.

    2. Menu- You can use these tabs to access the various modules and unctions provided by WCM3. Bank Links- These links take you to other online tools oered by Popular.

    4. Broadcast Messages- Here you will see all messages sent by Popular.5. Alerts- Depending on the services you have selected, the system will provide alerts about

    pending tasks or new warnings you establish. For example: ACH transactions, stop paymentsand Positive Pay.

    6. Account Data- Provides inormation about your accounts, specically real-time balances.

    On this screen (see image #8), when you click on one o the menu tabs, a sub-menu will appear. Inthis example, the ACH module tab is selected. The menu and sub-menu that appear will depend on

    the access an individual user has.

    Modules

    I. Administration2

    This is a new module in WCM and allows the administrator to create new users within the companyestablish access and passwords, and modiy, reactivate or delete users.

    Creating a new User

    1. Select the Create Userunction (see image #9).

    2. Fill out the user inormation and establish the Security Privileges.

    3. Click on Generate password(see image #10).4. A temporary password is generated or the user and it is inserted in the Passwordeld. Then

    ClickSubmit.

    2This unctionality is new. To activate it you must contact the Bank. Because it includes diferent unctions, there are changes in the Special Dispositions. Thereore, a new contract, also called Special Dispositions, must be signed.

    5. Next, in the User Inormation screen, you will begin the setup process. I other users already

    exist, then you may copy settings rom another User prole by selecting Copy Existing SettingsFrom. It may be a good idea to create proles depending on job descriptions. Then just simplyassign the prole to the new user.

    7. On the User Setup- Accounts screen (see image #12), select the account(s) you want the userto be able to access.

    Change User Password

    1. To change your own password, simply select the Admin tab on the menu and then click ChangeUser Password(see image #25).

    Notifcation Preerences

    Use the Event Notifcation Set up screen to congure notication settings. All users can use thescreen in order to set their own preerences. In addition, Customer Administrators can use the

    screen to set the preerences o other users.

    To Set Your Own Event Notication Preerences

    1. From theAdministration menu, click Preerences, then, click My Notifcation Preerences. TheMy Event Notication Setup screen displays with your user ID (see image #27).

    2. Fill in the Email Address eld i the eld is blank.When the screen is successully submitted, notications will be transmitted to this speciedaddress. The value o the Email Address eld will be stored in your user prole (see image #28)

    3. Optional. Click on theSend Test Emailbutton to send a test email to the email address that

    appears on the screen (see image #28).4. Select the events and dene the criteria or which you wish to receive event notications (see

    image #28).

    5. ClickSubmitto save the settings.Once all data validations are satised, notication settings will be saved and the user ID is

    congured to receive the dened event notications.

    II. Positive Pay

    This module allows you to send the Bank a list o checks issued. The Bank can also use this unctionto inorm you o any exceptions related to these checks. For more inormation about this service and

    its advantages, please contact one o our cash management ocers.

    Sending issue checks the Bank

    To send issues, ollow these steps:

    1. Under the Positive Paymenu, select the Manual Entryoption (see image #29).

    2. On the Manual Entry screen (see image #30), ll in the required elds: Bank ID and AccountAmount, Payee/ Additional Data, Check/ Serial Number, Date, Action.

    3. To add additional issues, pressAdd.4. Once all the instruments have been entered, pressSubmit.

    5. You will be taken to this conrmation screen (see image #31).

    Responding to Exceptions

    Exceptions will continue to be responded to on or beore 1:00 PM. Follow these steps:

    1. Under the Positive Paymenu (see image #32), select Make Pos Pay Decisions.

    2. Choose the account(s) in service.

    3. PressSearch.4. On the Pay/Return Decision, you can respond to exceptions.5. You can click on the line with the number o the check to see an image o the check.

    6. For each instrument presented, select a disposition rom the list. I you do not select a dispositionbeore the cuto time, the deault value will be selected. That value could be Pay or Do NotPay, depending on how it was set.

    7. PressSubmit.

    8. Press OKto return to the main menu.

    III. Account Transer

    This module allows you to make transers among accounts, either in real time or or the ollowingday. To create a transer, ollow these steps:

    1. In theAccount Transermodule, choose Create Single (see image #33).

    2. On the Create a Transer screen (see image #34), ll in all the required elds to make thetranser.

    3. Press Continue.4. Review the transaction. I everything is correct, pressSubmit(see image #35).

    5. The next screen presents the results o the transer. In this example, it has been rejected (seeimage #36).

    IV. Wire Transers

    Wire Transers are simple with Web Cash Manager.

    Select the Wire Transertab rom the menu on the main page. Here you can create one-time transers

    as well as creating patterns or templates or transers that you can use again later just by changingthe amount o the payment and the date.

    You can approve or reject transers, as well as generate specic and personalized reports about yourtransers.

    A. Free Form Wire- Creating non-repetitive wire transers

    1. Access the Wire Transertab on the main menu o the main page (see image #37) and select

    the Create Free Form Wire option.

    2. Access the Create Free Form Wire page (see image #38).3. Select the type o transer to be made (Message Type).

    4. Enter the required inormation (see image #39) or the wire transer. You can choose to search

    or banks to locate the correct one. When everything is ready, click on Preview.

    5. Conrm that the inormation is correct and pressSubmit(see image #40).

    B. Create Wire Template- Creating recurring wire transers

    One improvement that has been added to WCM is the ability to create your own patterns or templatesor wire transers without having to contact the Bank.

    1. Under Wire Transer, select the Create Wire Template option (see image #42).

    2. Select the type o transer to be sent (Message Type)(see image #43).

    3. Fill in the required inormation (see image #44) or the wire transer and press Preview. Thesystem allows you to search or inormation on banks receiving wire transers.

    4. Then press Submit and you have created the template (see image #45).

    5. Press OK(see image #46). The template will remain on hold until it is approved by the Bank.

    Ater it has been approved, you can use it as oten as you wish without having to enter all theinormation about the wire transer again.

    C. Create Wire From Template- Creating a wire transer using a template

    1. From the main Wire Transerpage, click on the Create Wire From Template option (see image#47).

    2. PressSearch to look or templates that have already been set up (see image #48).

    3. Select the template to be used or the transer you want to create simply by clicking on it (seeimage #49).

    4. Enter the amount and the date. These are the only elds that can be changed when using atemplate (see image #50).

    The transaction will remain on hold (Status Pending) until it has been approved by an authorizeduser. There is no need to wait or approval rom the bank. This is yet another advantage brought toyou by the new WCM.

    D.Approve Wire- Approval o Transers

    All wire transers must be approved by an authorized user. To approve a transer:

    1. On the Wire Transermain page, click on theApprove Wire option (see image #53).

    E. Quick Entry- Create multiple wire transers using previously created templates

    This option allows you to submit various wire transers at once by using templates that have beenpreviously created and approved.

    1. On the Wire Transermain page (see image #57), select the Create Quick Entry Wires option

    3. Locate the template(s); enter the eective date and the amount o money.4. PressSubmit(see image #58).

    V. ACH

    Create ACH Template- Creating a template or fling transactions

    It is now even easier to make ACH payments in WCM. First, create a template or the payments youwant to make. Its easy.

    1. On the main ACH screen, select the Create ACH Template option. This was ormerly calledDatabase (see image #63).

    2. Select the type o le or transactions to be made. Example: or payroll, choose Direct Deposit(see image #64).

    a. Template IDb. Template Name

    c. Tran Typed. Co ID | Name | Bank ID | Settlement Acct | Acct Type- This is new. It is important that you

    choose the account to be debited.

    e. Company Entry Description- It is important to choose the correct description based onthe type o transaction you are going to make.

    Add ACH Transaction to ACH Template- How to add transactions to a template

    Once you have created templates, you can add the transactions.

    1. On the main screen, select theAdd Transaction to ACH Template option (see image #70).

    Ater you have created a template, approved it and added transactions, it is necessary to create thetransactions so they can be submitted later to an authorized user or approval.

    1. From the main screen, click on the Create ACH Transaction, previously called Batch(see image#76).

    Approve ACH Transactions- How to approve fles o ACH transactions

    The transactions created (les or processing) must be approved by a user with approval authorizationThe authorized user takes the ollowing steps:

    1. From the main screen, choose theApprove ACH Transactions option (see image #82).

    ACH Report- How to create ACH reports

    1. Select theACH Reports option (see image #86).

    The rst time you access this section, you will have no specic reports. You have to create templatesbased on the options provided by the platorm.

    2. Press Edit List(see image #87).

    3. Highlight all the reports (see image #88).4. Press Forward.5. PressSubmit. You now have access to all the reports.

    In the ACH Reports section, you can choose the dates and details or your reports by ollowing thesesteps:

    1. Choose a report rom the list provided (see image #89).2. Press Filter, enter the details o the type o report you want to generate and choose whether

    you want a global report, by transaction or by details.3. Then press Generate and you will have access to the report with the details you requested.

    ACH Import- Creating rules or importing (Text, NACHA)

    I you already have a le with a pre-dened ormat, you can still use it by importing it into the newWCM. Simply establish the rules or importing the le so the system will recognize it.

    Creating rules or importing

    1. On the main screen, select the Maintain Rules option (see image #90).

    2. Assign a name or the rule you want to create.3. Choose the type o le.

    Importing a fle in plain text ormat

    1. On the main screen, select the Import Text File option (see image #93).

    2. Locate and select the le in your computer by pressing Browse(see image #94).3. Select the rule that applies to the le to be imported.4. Choose the template into which you want to import the transactions.

    5. Under Import Options, select the action to be taken.6. Press Import. The inormation will be added to your database immediately.

    VI. Inormation Reporting

    In WCM, you can create and generate reports based on your specic needs and objectives by usingthe Favorite Reports option. These reports can be customized to include the inormation you wantat the time.

    Favorite Reports- How to create preerred reports

    See and create these reports by ollowing these steps:

    1. On the main screen, under Ino Reporting, press Favorite Reports(see image #99).

    You will see a list o specic, pre-dened reports that you can use. One example is the DetaiReport, which gives you a common detailed report:

    IR Cash Position Report- How to use the cash position report

    Another very useul report available in WCM is the Cash Position Report. This report refects theavailable cash balances in your accounts at the time. To create the report:

    Transaction Search- Searching or transactions

    Another advantage WCM provides is the option o locating any transaction on your accounts romyour own oce, without having to call the Bank. To search or a transaction:

    1. Under Ino Reporting, press Transaction Search(see image #105).

    You have the option o editing, modiying and creating duplicate reports by using templates rom

    want to include in the report, and deleting those which you do not need.

    This is a new module in WCM allows the administrator to create new users in your company, assignaccess and passwords, and modiy, reactivate or delete users.

    Creating a new User

    1. Select the Create Userunction. 2. Fill in the inormation and set the users privileges.

    3. Click on Generate Password.4. A temporary password will be created and inserted in the password feld. Then click onSubmit

    Modify/ Delete User

    Use the Modiy / Delete User option to change an existing user.

    1. From the Admin menu, click on Modify/ Delete User.

    2. Choose the user you want to modiy.

    3. Click on Modify.

    4. Make changes in any o the felds, as needed.

    5. Click on Nexti you need to make changes in the users accounts or services settings. Otherwiseclick on Finish i there are no other changes.

    Delete User

    This unction eliminates users rom the application.1. From the Admin menu, click on Modify/ Delete User.

    2. Select the user you want to eliminate and click on Delete.

    3. I you are sure you want to delete the user, click on OK.

    Express Entitle Acct to Users

    Administrators can use the Express Entitle Account unctionality to grant access to an account tovarious users.

    Modify Account Name

    You can change the name o an account to make it easier to recognize in drop-down lists or reportson the online banking screens.

    1. Under Admin, click on Modify Account Name.

    2. Select the account you want to rename rom the list o accounts to which you have access.

    3. Enter the new name o the account in the Account Name feld and then pressSubmit.
