• Preview display is cached and can “lag behind”

• Use browser tabs to display the actual form and

“refresh” to review changes

• Do not have to “Submit” to view design changes

• Confirm changes in payment stage

• Need familiarity with CSS/HTML for advanced

adjustments

• Use Advanced Style sheet editor to save a back

up copy

• Back up the HTML code in “Configure Content”

• Use Folders to organize your images

• Delete images from the Appeals/Email function

• Prepare for upcoming responsive design updates

Donation Forms

• If you select “Total” or “Initiative”, form will display

options for designations level below

• Recommend using giving levels to prompt donation

levels - also allow other amount

• Enter Designation name and additional information

Language > Donation Information

• Can Leverage the “Comments” field to prompt

memorial/tribute information

Language > Additional Information

Program Forms

• Online sales can be managed at program level

• Online Settings for tickets covers all online program sales

• Sales window controlled at Program level

• Price Types eligibility at Sales Method level

• Use Language to edit content (date format, etc.)

• Leverage Web description to display important/succinct information on the event

• Different name on scheduled event creates program listing and removes it from “Other date/times” link

Combination Forms

• Cannot be restricted by membership or

constituency restrictions

• Allows only one program in each of the groups

• Ideally suited for daily admission and scheduled

program combinations

• Cannot be used where users have to select

between options

Membership Forms

• Members program and levels description is through program and level information

• Only additional member add-ons are available for online sales

• Multiple add-ons can be moved up or down to adjust display in the form

• Membership level badges can have their color adjusted through advanced css

• Make Title and First Name required for additional members if they are adults

• Renewal Form options are under configuration

• You can link directly to the renewal form via Altru email(check Web Forms A to Z in resources)

Event Registration Forms

• Special Events are displayed in the list before registered programs

• We can select which registration options/price types we want to enable for online sales (hide complimentary options)

• Can move types up and down in sequence to prioritize them

• Keep guest information optional in case host has not decided who they are bringing

• Edit button content via Language > Page

• Use Web description to include succinct information

• Different name on registered program event creates program listing and removes it from “Other date/times” link

Acknowledgement Emails

• Best practice to use appropriate

acknowledgement emails for every form

• Create a base version via Default

Acknowledgement email and then modify

• Copy – Paste - Edit!

• Includes instructions, directions, link-backs

• Set up to be mobile friendly

User Registration

• Enable if you have frequent online users

• Effective mechanism for delivering automatic

online discounts, prefilling information for users

• Edit text to encourage registration on the web

form
