Pray for our Growth Together Please continue to pray for growth in our Christian community Eternal Father, look with your love on your people of this benefice and the wider Partnership, and pour upon us the gifts of your Spirit. Draw us to you and one another that our growing unity may bring healing of life to all, through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen. Thought for this week…..by Rev. Michelle Martin As we approach Harvest, I find myself thinking of the words to a great hymn, “All good gifts around us are sent from heaven above, so thank the Lord, O thank the lord, for all his love.” I wonder how often we really stop and reflect on what a gift it is to have such an abundance of food and free access to clean water. I wonder how often we think about where the food has come from – those who are out in the fields bringing in the Harvest, those who work so hard so that we have what we need. As Harvest approaches, let us take some time out to consider the wonders of God’s creation and the great gifts of food and water which we have been so freely given. And, as we prepare to bring our Harvest offerings to church over the next couple of weeks, may we be prepared to give abundantly to those in need as God has given so abundantly to us. Thought for this week…..by Rev. Michelle Martin

As we approach Harvest, I find myself thinking of the words to a great hymn, “All good gifts around us are sent from heaven above, so thank the Lord, O thank the lord, for all his love.” I wonder how often we really stop and reflect on what a gift it is to have such an abundance of food and free access to clean water. I wonder how often we think about where the food has come from – those who are out in the fields bringing in the Harvest, those who work so hard so that we have what we need. And, as we prepare to bring our Harvest offerings to church over the next couple of weeks, may we be prepared to give abundantly to those in need as God has given so abundantly to us.

Look inside to see what else is going on……Drama in the Benefice! In October next year, we are performing a pantomime at St Aidan’s and we would love to have participation from across the benefice.
