It was great that so many parents and family members were able to support them with this. Well done Year 3 for reminding everyone that we have a part to play.

Sporting Success for Girls Rugby Teams

Recently teams from Years 3,4 & 5 participated in the Red Kites Rugby Festival. Many of the girls had never played before but were great at tagging and also in their support play. Everyone really enjoyed the day and they were all wonderful ambassadors for our school.

Year 3 – played 5, won 5 – 23 tries scored, 12 conceded

Year 4 – played 5, won 5 – 25 tries scored, 6 conceded

Year 5 – played 7, won 6. 32 tries scored, 14 conceded.

Year 5 & 6. The teams were fantastic, both displaying great skill and teamwork throughout. Llanfaes Leopards played 5, won 1, drew 1 and narrowly lost 3 – however they showed great defensive qualities as they played without a goalie! Llanfaes Lions won 4 games and drew 1. They won their pool so will be playing in the finals in June. We are very proud of you all!
