Children not permitted to play outside in very icy conditions. SSO treats icy areas first thing in the morning and again during the day if appropriate. Close staff supervision. Children told to avoid icy areas.

General hygiene Staff and Pupils by spread of infection
Ensure staff and pupils wash / sanitise their hands before and after the outdoor activity. Encourage staff and pupils to avoid touching their faces, including their mouth, nose and eyes.Use a tissue of elbow to cough or sneeze and use bins to dispose of the tissue.
