6 th Class Superhero Poems
Superheroes – By G. S.
The world is quiet,The traffic is gone,
The kids are at home all day long.
No school to go to but homework to do,Mum is cook, cleaner and teacher to,
My God, she has a lot to do.
Bills are down, fuel is cheap,Shopping for groceries is highlight of the week,
Shopping for clothes is done online,And this allows me to pass the time,
The air is cleaner and rivers are clear,Pollution is down the environmentalists will cheer.
Wild animals can roam freely on the streets,While we stay home and complete homework sheets,
Celebrities and footballers are on the sidelines,While doctors and nurses are on the headlines,
People are more conscious about hygiene and health,And not so much about money and wealth.
The world is different, nothing is the same, butWhen this is over we will meet again.
Hugs and kisses are top of the list,Two of the things I greatly missed.
Biscuits my hero – By M. D. My cat is fluffy which makes her Look chubby, black and white and sometimes lacks a mite, She likes to eat meat, And gravy as a treat, she's big and fat and is a bit of a brat,
She's my superhero friend and time with her I like to spend
She likes to sleep and she likes to leap, she's naughty and crafty, she hunts and does stunts, But best of all She's my hero and does zero.

Superheroes – By T. L.The world today is very sick
we need the heroes to come quickPeople now are so unsureIt will get better with a cure
These heroes don't have swords and capesThey come in different sizes and shapes
Some are young, some are old, some are quiet, some are bold
These heroes can't stop timeBut some are out to help with crime
You'd expect to hear that they shapeshiftWhen actually, helping others is their gift

An Amazing Superhero – By: A. K.
I think I’m super cool,
But people take me as a fool.
People say I’m really lame,
But one I’ll be in fame.
I even wear a cape,
But its hung up by tape.
I even have a mask,
But I can never finish the task.
And when I fail,
I just bail.
People call me a rat,
And a little bit fat.
I think I’m really smart,
But people call me Simpson Bart.
I’m on a losing streak,
Because I am super weak.
And before I say hello,
I have already taken a blow.
And in a flash,
I have already had a crash.
I’m super super brave,
Even though I can’t really save.
People call me Mr. Zero,
So I can tell you it’s not easy being a fake Super Hero
Superheroes – By: B.B.Covid-19 came to visit
It’s been here for a while
I miss my friends and family
But I miss my Nana and Granda most of all.
I like working with my Granda
He’s fun to be around
He never tells me ‘hurry up’
He always takes his time.
My Granda taught me how to cut turf at the bog
My Nana brings along the lunch and even Buster the dog!
My Nana picks me up from school makes me feel happy and safe.
My Nana is a frontline hero
She cares for elderly people in the Hospital near her home
She calls us every single night and we talk to her on the phone.
Because of Corona virus
I cannot visit them
I miss my Superheroes
Their the kindest of them all.
I really hope this virus goes
So I can go and stay with them
I’d bring cake and buns and sweets and sit and scoff them all
Whilst making amazing plans 😊
Superheroes – By: E.A.During these hard times,
We’re all insideOnly going out for essentials
Trying to stay alive.
Meanwhile these nurse ,doctorsI could go on
Are taking time out of their dayJust so we can move on.
There’s so many little things that we do not see,Like how we won’t be graduating,
And we can all agree. That it hurts that we won’t walk these halls,
I honestly can’t process this at all.
So many people are passing away,And a lot of ignorant people are just
Carrying on with their day.
We can’t forget our parents of course,Who are doing all that they can,
Making sure we’re safeAnd trying to come up with a plan.
Thank you all for everything that you do.I really hope that you can see that
The ‘superheroes’ are you.
CORONA VIRUS POEM – By. J. R.
8 weeks today I came home to stay,
Little did I know that this is how it was going to go
no one about and no one allowed out to play
Our part, we must stay 2 metres apart
While Doctors, Nurses and healthcare worker put their lives on the line
So we will be fine

Superheroes – By. J.L.
Thank you to all the superheroes helping us everyday. They risk their lives to help us, we should not forget.
Not Spiderman,Not Ironman,
Not Batman either. They help us when we have a list of groceries, or a
fever.Especially now when the times are hard,
They might not have time to relax in their yard.A driver,A nurse
and also a cashier. They help us everyday, all year.
When we stay at home do work or chores or relax we sometimes forget to say thanks.
Everyday they help usa shopkeeper
the policeand also a nurse,
the police protecting people, and a driver driving a bus.
Thank you for all the the time they use for us.
Superheroes – By: C. M.
Doctors
They are developing a vaccine,
to not see a bad scene.
They make us feel better,
when we are bitter.
Nurses
Nurses are there,
who always care.
Always available,
when we are not capable.
Garda
They make us feel safe,
when we are unsafe.
They help us,
when we are helpless.
Mother
She bakes me cakes,
and then I get stomach aches.
My mum helps me with my education,
but I can’t wait to go on vacation.
