Dear Parent
This plan is to inform you of the curriculum that will be taught to your children this term. During the week commencing 8th May the children will be taking their formal assessments (SATs). Please support your son/ daughter at this time by giving them as much encouragement as possible, ensuring that they are getting enough sleep and that they come to school having had something to eat. If they feel unwell please continue to send them to school but let us know so that we can keep a special eye on them. Unfortunately we are not allowed to vary the time of the tests for children who are absent. You will receive a report at the beginning of July that will provide details of progress over the year and the targets for improvement. You will be sent details of the SAT results as soon as they are available to us.
