Prezi Guide

1. Load up the internet.

2. Type into the url bar prezi.com

3. It’ll bring you to this screen

4. Go to the sign up section at the top right and click on it.

5. You’ll get the above screen click on Student / Teacher Licenses GO button.6. Now click on the get button

7. Type in your school email address into the bar (your username) Don’t forget to

finish it @branksome.org.uk and click continue

8. Now type in the information above into the School name, City and website bar and in the country bar click on the arrow and select United Kindgom (Great Britain).

9. Click on the I confirm that the school above is a school where I am an active student or a teacher and then click continue

10. You’ll get this screen click on close and go to your Branksome email where you will get an email from prezi.

11. It’ll take you back to this page close it down.

12. Go to your email you’ll get an email like the one highlighted in blue open it.

13. Copy the link into a new internet page

14. You’ll now have to complete the verification procress fill in the details below

remember the email has to be your @branksome.org.uk one

15. You’ll now be able to log into prezi. CLICK ON LOG IN and type in your email and your password and click log in

16. You’ll get this page click on the learn Prezi now play button and watch the tutorial.

17. Have a go at making a Prezi on a piece of Technological Innovation. To do this start of by copying one of my Prezis.

18. Type into the search bar thinking hats a piece of technology and click search. It’ll bring you to this screen click on the 1st one it is edited by me.

19. It’ll load this page up. Click on the save a copy button

20. It’ll now save it to your prezi home page. YOUR PREZIS.

21. CLICK ON IT AND YOUR READY TO EDIT AND MAKE YOUR OWN PREZI.

22. Click on the zoom button until you can clearly read the blue text.

23. Using the left mouse button click and hold and move the mouse to move the screen position so that the blue text is in the middle of your prezi page. You’l see the fist symbol to show you can move the page position.

24. Click on the edit prezi button.

25. Follow the simple tutorial guide by clicking on start.

26. Double left mouse button click on the blue text. It’ll bring this up.

27. Change the text to your item of technological innovation from AO2. Click ok when complete.

28. The text is too small so enlarge it by left mouse one click. It’ll bring this symbol up. Click and hold on the 2nd ring where the arrow is pointing and holding the left mouse button drag it out and it will make the text bigger. Let go of the mouse. And click away from the symbol till it disappears.

29. Now move the text click on the blue text again and it’ll bring the symbol up again. Left click and hold the centre past of the symbol and drag to a new position.

30. Now change the colour of the screen click on the colours circle top left.

It’ll now change the screen to this.

31. Go to Theme wizard and change the colours of the background and the text to what ever colour you want. Follow the wizard guide to do this.

32. Now you are ready to Thinking hats your presentation. Read the white picture with the hats. Click on the zoom button to make it bigger to see.

You could make 6 different prezis and use the hat colour as the background and all the ideas create on your prezi will be about that hat.

E.g. as I have used green the ideas hat I could write around it like the following details just click anywhere on the page and write to add text. Use the shape button to add the arrow.

33. Now you can tilt a piece of text or picture. To do this click on the item you want to tilt and the edit symbol will appear left click and hold on the outside ring of the symbol and rotate the item until you have it in the desired position and let go of the mouse button.

34. To insert a picture click on insert top left of the page.

35. This will bring up the following path. Click on load file and insert your picture from a file.

36. Now add a youtube clip by clicking on inser again and then clicking on the youtube button. It’ll bring up the following screen. All you need to do now is copy the youtube url from youtube and paste it into the bar.

Now the last thing before we can show our prezi is to add paths.

37. Click on path and then the add button. Now click on the sequence that you want the presentation to follow. I will click on the central picture first then the ipad orange text then the bullet point then the youtube video and then the left picture. When you click on them it shows you a blue flow line with a number to show the sequence. If you want to change it you press the delete button.

38. Now click on the little arrow and go to show to watch your handy work.

39. Click full screen and then click on the transition arrow

The transition arrows will disappear so you have to scroll back over the bottom right of the presentation to make it reappear.
