At this time we have 25 unclear volunteers. We ask that if your name is listed below you come to our next safety environment training. If you would like do it online please visit www.dallas.setanet.org/obligations.php. When complete, call Laura Reyes or Lisa Garcia at 972-544-2161 or email us at [email protected]. If you no longer are a volunteer please contact the office so we may remove you from our list. Our safety environment office is open every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month from 9am to 12pm. Starting in March 2014 there will be no fee for active volunteers.

National Vocation Awarness Week
Did you know that in our country, compared to 50 years ago, there are 20,000 fewer priests and 129,000 fewer religious sisters? At the same time, the Catholic
population has continued to grow steadily. Many factors have contributed to the decline: growing secularism, a lengthened period of adolescence, attitudes about celibacy, etc. During Vocation Awareness week, please pray that young people in today’s society will hear and respond to God’s call. And do your part to encourage
them to consider the priesthood and religious life.

Catholic Charities Sunday
In early 2014, while going through a family and financial crisis, Susie Allen reached out the Catholic Charities of Dallas for help. She called many agencies for help, but only Catholic Charities of Dallas answered the call. “They stepped up, and went a little bit further to help my husband and I with food. It was a blessing from God. If it wasn’t for Catholic Charities of Dallas, I don’t know where my husband and I would be.
