Guild Award (Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series), a 2006 Golden Globe Award nomination, a 2005 Television Critics Award nomination and a 2005 Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy. The role of the single mom searching for has vaulted Hatcher to the pinnacle of today's hottest comic actresses. The role comes naturally to the actress, who is a single mother to her daughter, Emerson Rose. Hatcher has become a household name not just in the U.S.; Desperate Housewives European success resulted in Hatcher's recent honor by the U.K. edition of Glamour magazine as one of its 2005 Women of the Year. The award was presented to her by Sir Elton John. Her previous credits include starring as Lois Lane in the 1994-1997 series, Lois & Clark. Among the many highlights of her career is hosting Saturday Night Live. Other favourite roles include Cabaret, and in The Vagina Monologues. Of all her film credits, Hatcher still considers the first movie she ever made – The Big Picture to be her favourite. Other movies that followed were Soapdish, Two Days in the Valley, Spy Kids and as “Bond” girl in Tomorrow Never Dies. Hatcher became a New York Times best-selling author with her first book, Burnt Toast and other Philosophies of Life, which was released in May 2006. Hatcher is also well known for her involvement in worthy causes, including the Tuberous Sclerosis Alliance, the Starlight Starbright Foundation and the Make A Wish Foundation. She was honored in 1996 with the Aviva Centers Spirit of Compassion Award. She has also been a strong advocate of both AIDS Walk Los Angeles and AIDS Walk New York, and an active participant in the battle against breast cancer. The gown Hatcher wore to the 2005 Golden Globe Awards was sold at auction to benefit Clothes Off Our Backs, as was a Versace couture dress from an In Style Magazine cover shoot. E! Entertainment Television has named her the network's Best Dressed Woman. Among her pop culture honors, Hatcher has had the distinction of being the most downloaded image on the internet the year she posed wrapped in Superman's cape and nothing else! She has also been honored by the Hollywood Women's Press Club as “Discovery of the Year.”

FELICITY HUFFMAN: Lynette ScavoFelicity Huffman has proven herself an exceptional actress in both dramatic and comedic roles. Her role in Desperate Housewives, along with the rest of her cast, the 2005 SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series and a 2005 Emmy Award nomination as Best Actress in a Comedy Series. She starred in the independent film Transamerica, which screened at the Berlin Film Festival and at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2005; Huffman won the award for Best Film Actress at Tribeca for her great performance. In 2004 Huffman appeared in the feature film Christmas with the Cranks and also in Raising Helen. On the small screen in 2004 she was seen in the television movie Reversible Errors. Among her television movie credits are Out of Order, Door to Door, Path to War, The Heart Department, Harrison, Cry of the City, Quicksand, Heart of Justice, The Water Engine and Underworld. Other television credits include Chicago Hope, X-Files, Law & Order and Bedtime Stories, with series regular roles on The Human Factor, Sports Night, Thunder Alley, Early Edition, Jules and The Golden Years. Huffman is a founding member of the Atlantic Theater Company, an off-Broadway theater company where she has performed in a number of plays, including Dangerous Corner, Shaker Heights and The Joy of Definitely Going Somewhere. Among her other stage credits are Oh Hell, Boy's Life, The Loop and Grotesque Love Songs. She also appeared in Speed the Plow and received an OBIE Award for her portrayal of Donnie in Mamet's Cryptogram. Huffman resides in Los Angeles with her husband, actor/director William H. Macy, and their two daughters.

MARCIA CROSS: Bree Van De KampIn 2005 and 2006 she was nominated for a Golden Globe Award in the Best Actress category in Desperate Housewives. She was also nominated for an Emmy Award in the Best Actress in a Comedy Series category in 2005. Prior to her role on Desperate Housewives, Cross starred Everwood. She is also well known for her role on Melrose Place. Born and raised in Marlborough, Massachusetts, Cross was determined to become an actress from the moment she performed in her first school play, The Witch of Blackbird Pond, in the sixth grade. At the age of 18 she was accepted at the Juilliard School as a Drama major. On stage Cross

performed in La Ronde, in Twelfth Night and in Two Gentlemen of Verona. Her first television job was on the daytime drama The Edge of Night. Leaving New York to try her luck in Los Angeles, Cross was soon landing roles in television movies such as The Last Days of Frank and Jessie James. Her memorable role on Melrose Place began when she was hired for one episode. Cross also guest-starred on such series as Seinfeld and Cheers. She has also appeared on the comedies Ally McBeal, Spin City, The Garry Shandling Show and King of Queens. Her dramatic roles include appearances on CSI, Profiler and Touched by an Angel, and her film credits include Living in Fear, Always Say Good-bye, Dancing in September and Bad Influence. Aside from her successful career as an actress, Cross has also made time to continue her education. She recently completed her clinical training to earn a Master’s Degree in Psychology. Cross makes her home in Los Angeles.

EVA LONGORIA PARKER: Gabrielle SolisGolden Globe nominee and two-time ALMA Award-winning Eva Longoria Parker stars on the hit Desperate Housewives. This People's Choice Award winner for "Favorite Female TV Star" was named one of 2005 People's "50 Most Beautiful," 2006's and 2007's "100 Most Beautiful People," one of Rolling Stone's "People of the Year," and the "#1 Hottest Woman in the World" on Maxim's annual "Hot 100" list two years in a row. She is the international face of L'Oréal Paris, a spokesperson in American and Latin markets for PepsiCo, Inc. and the face of BEBE SPORT. Longoria Parker starred in The Sentinel, and in Harsh Times. She lends her voice to Foodfight! and stars in Over My Dead Body. In addition she hosted and produced the National Council of La Raza ALMA Awards on ABC in 2006 and 2007, which honors Latino artistic achievement in the television, film, and music industry. The youngest of four sisters who grew up on a ranch in Corpus Christi, Texas, Longoria attended Texas A&M-Kingsville, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. After graduating from college, she entered a talent contest that brought her to Los Angeles, where she was spotted and subsequently signed by a theatrical agent. After landing roles on The Bold and the Beautiful, General Hospital and co-starring on Beverly Hills, 90210, Longoria Parker won the role of Isabella on The Young and the Restless, which earned her an ALMA Award for Outstanding Actress in a Daytime Drama in 2002. This was followed by a role on LA Dragnet. Longoria Parker currently lives in Los Angeles. She is the national spokesperson for Padres Contra El Cancer. In addition to Padres, Longoria Parker works with the Special Olympics and recently founded the non-profit "Eva's Heroes". She volunteered for the Kerry-Edwards and Clinton-Gore campaigns, educating Latino voters about the Presidential candidates, and currently works closely with The United Farm Workers (UFW), The Mexican American Legal Defense Educational Fund (MALDEF), the Dolores Huerta Foundation, and The National Council of La Raza (NCLR). Longoria Parker has been honored with the National Hispanic Foundation for the Arts' Horizon Award. She received the "Latina Visionary and Community Empowerment Award" from the Hispanic Women's Corporation for her contributions to the Latin community at the 21st National Hispanic Women's Conference. She was also the recipient of the 2006 NHLI Mujer/Chair Award, presented to her by the National Hispana Leadership Institute for her significant contributions to the empowerment and wellbeing of the Hispanic community. The Larry King Cardiac Foundation, in partnership with the American Heart Association, presented her with the "Corazones Unidos Award" for her philanthropic efforts. In addition, she donated an entire house to one of the victims of Hurricane Katrina through the Oprah Angel Network.

NICOLLETTE SHERIDAN: Edie BrittNicollette Sheridan, born in England and raised in London and Los Angeles, is perhaps best known to TV audiences for portraying the beautiful, powerful and manipulative Paige Matheson in the long-running drama series, Knots Landing. She returns to series television on Desperate Housewives. One of Sheridan's first feature film appearances was in the hit The Sure Thing. In addition to Knots Landing, her television credits include TV miniseries and movies such as Lucky/Chances, Indictment: The McMartin Trial, The People Next Door, The Spiral Staircase and Dead Husbands. She has also starred in the feature film comedies Noises Off, Spy Hard and Beverly Hills Ninja.

BRENDA STRONG: Mary Alice YoungBrenda Strong a native of Portland, OR, she left home to attend Arizona State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Musical Theater. After graduation she moved to Los Angeles, where she soon began appearing in television and films. A familiar face on television, Strong has guest starred on C.S.I. and had recurring roles on Nip/Tuck, Everwood and the critically-acclaimed Sports Night. She is also recognizable to Seinfeld fans. Strong starred in the features The Kid and I and in The Work and the Glory. Previous feature film credits include Starship Troopers, Starship Troopers 2, The Deep End of the Ocean, The Craft, and Spaceballs. Strong is a certified yoga instructor in Los Angeles and has a line of videos designed to help infertile couples through yoga therapy. She has also taught at UCLA's Mind-Body Institute. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and son.

JAMES DENTON: Mike DelfinoAlong with the rest of the cast of Desperate Housewives, Denton was honored with the 2006 and 2005 SAG Award for Best Ensemble in a Comedy. He starred in Wanted: Undead or Alive. A native of Nashville, Denton has been one of Hollywood's busiest actors since he hit town with a training background that has launched many performers into stardom - a solid body of respected work in the Chicago theatre. Originally attending college on a basketball scholarship, he wasn't bitten by the acting bug until he was 20. He landed the role in Our Town, got fine reviews, but thought there was a more solid career in selling advertising. He did that in Tennessee and then in North Carolina for four years, before taking off for Chicago to risk everything to become a professional actor. Denton was soon accepted as one of the town's brightest and busiest actors. After earning a key casting when the Untouchables series came to town to film, he was drawn to Los Angeles, where his strong theatre reputation had preceded him, and he was quickly locked in with choice turns in film, on TV and on stage. He started building his big screen profile with performances in such films as Primary Colors, Face/Off and That Old Feeling, but soon off-beat roles in adventurous TV series were claiming his time. In 1997 he landed the role in The Pretender. The NBC series' multi-year run was followed by The Pretender television films, Pretender 2001 and Pretender: The Island of the Haunted. In 2001 Denton was cast in Philly, which was critically acclaimed. His growing reputation soon led to a new series role on Threat Matrix. Acting obviously is serious work for the handsome and athletic Denton. His first role in Chicago theatre was in A Streetcar Named Desire, and his last was on Lapin, Lapin. He was a company member of the Griffin Theatre and at the Strawdog Theatre Ensemble. He added a steady string of roles and accolades to his quickly growing list, including one of the leads in the world premiere of Flesh and Blood, performing in and composing the music for The Night Hank Williams Died, and his portrayal in The Diviners, which gained him a coveted Joseph Jefferson Best Actor nomination. For these performances, Denton was listed as one of Chicago's hottest actors by Screen Magazine. In Los Angeles he appeared in the premieres of Asylum, Locked Up Down Shorty's and In Walked Monk. In addition to his series-starring roles on TV, his guest appearances include JAG, Slider, Dark Skies, Two Guys and a Girl, Ally McBeal and The West Wing. Denton also became a part owner of the minor league baseball team the Orange County Flyers.

DOUG SAVANT: Tom ScavoDoug Savant first gained national attention when he was cast in Melrose Place. Prior to his primetime notoriety, Savant had roles on the big screen in films like Masquerade, Hanoi Hilton and Red Surf. Following Melrose, he took on a supporting role in the Dean Devlin/Roland Emmerich mega-production of Godzilla. His television appearances include such hit shows as 24, According to Jim and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Savant is married to actress Laura Leighton and they have four children.

RICARDO ANTONIO CHAVIRA: Carlos SolisA native of South Texas, Ricardo Antonio Chavira was born in Austin and raised in San Antonio, where he graduated from Robert E. Lee High School, now the Performing Arts

School, and Incarnate Word College. He received his MFA from the highly regarded UC-San Diego's Professional Actor Training Program in 2000, and moved to Los Angeles shortly thereafter. Since that time, he has worked consistently in all areas of the entertainment industry - film, television and theatre. Film credits The Alamo and several independent films. Television credits prior to Desperate Housewives include a series regular role on The Grubbs, recurring roles on Six Feet Under and The Division, and guest star roles on Joan of Arcadia, Kingpin, 24 and JAG, as well as NYPD Blue, Philly and City of Angels. He also guest starred on George Lopez. Chavira co-stars in Kings of South Beach which aired in Spring 2007. Chavira starred in a production of Tracers at the Odyssey Theatre in Los Angeles, and has worked at some of the country's top regional theatres, including La Jolla Playhouse in Dogeaters, The Guthrie in Jack and Jill, the San Diego Rep in Bandido, and the Seattle Rep & Missouri Rep, where he starred in Living Out. His success on Desperate Housewives has afforded him the opportunity to help in the fight against Breast Cancer, a cause that became highly personal to him at the age of 15, when he lost his own mother to breast and ovarian cancer. He is San Antonio's honorary spokesman for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, and served as the National Team Captain for the "Race for the Cure" in Washington DC. Chavira's greatest achievement and honor, however, was the birth of his son, Tomas Antonio Chavira, in 2003.

ANDREA BOWEN: Julie MayerAndrea Bowen began her life as a professional performer on Broadway in New York at the age of six, in Les Misérables, the youngest Cosette in the show's 16-year run. She went on to originate the role of Marta Von Trapp in the Original Cast of the Broadway revival of The Sound of Music, and the role of Adele in the Broadway musical production of Jane Eyre. While performing on Broadway, she also began to guest star on such TV shows as Law & Order and Third Watch, and in the films New York Crossing and Highball. She starred in the Hollywood Bowl's version of The Sound of Music. Prior to being cast in Desperate Housewives, Andrea played in That Was Then. She also played in a recurring role on Boston Public, and has had numerous guest star appearances on other shows in a wide variety of roles, ranging from an altruistic, cystic fibrosis patient on Strong Medicine to an ill-tempered and foul mouthed foster child on One Tree Hill, from the bratty child of a sports star on Arli$$ to a shy, suicidal teenager on Nip/Tuck. Andrea has also found success as a voiceover artist, lending her vocal talents too many projects, including the film The Ice Age, Party Wagon and Ben-10. As a recording artist, she can be heard on the original-cast albums of Jane Eyre, the Musical and The Sound of Music, 98 Broadway Revival, as well as Night of the Hunter, Z, the Masked Musical, Broadway Kids Sing America and the Sugar Beats discs Car Tunes and Christmas Album. Andrea is the youngest of six siblings, all of whom have found considerable success as performers on Broadway and in film and television. She currently lives with her mom and dad in the Los Angeles area. In addition to acting, she is an accomplished singer and dancer who also enjoy swimming and horseback riding.

SHAWN PYFROM: Andrew Van de KampShawn Pyfrom is making waves as one of young Hollywood's fastest rising stars. He also stars in the Disney remake of The Shaggy Dog and in the indie thriller The Darkroom. Hailing from Tampa, Florida, Pyfrom has been acting for as long as he can remember. Starting with numerous commercials in Florida, he eventually booked Disney's Sing Me a Story and the Tampa series The Reppies, which started his climb to success. After working on such projects as From the Earth to the Moon and the syndicated drama The Cape, Pyfrom packed up his bi-coastal lifestyle and moved to Los Angeles with his mother and two siblings. Arriving in LA, the Pyfrom kids were home-schooled and went on auditions. An exceptionally versatile young actor, Pyfrom has appeared in an episode of 7th Heaven, in an Emmy-nominated episode of Touched by an Angel, and in Come On Get Happy: The Partridge Family Story. His convincing turn as the young Bonaduce won him a nomination for The Hollywood Reporter's "Young Star Award" for Best Actor. Prior to landing Desperate Housewives, Pyfrom had recurring roles on Still Standing and 8 Simple Rules. He has also appeared on Malcolm in the Middle, Reba, The Drew Carey Show, Buffy the Vampire Slayer,

LA Doctors, Chicago Hope, Jesse, Ellen and The Division, and internationally on the Canadian hit, My Hometown. Film credits include Pay It Forward, the Canadian comedy, A Day in the Life, and Max Keeble's Big Move. Voiceover credits include Stanley and Kids from Room 402. When not working, Pyfrom enjoys listening to music, hanging out with friends and going to the movies. He also enjoys volunteering his time with needy children. Besides being a promising artist, he is also an avid reader.

JOY LAUREN: Danielle Van de KampJoy Lauren was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She first realized that she wanted to be an actress at age seven and began performing at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta. At age eleven she moved out to Los Angeles with her mother, Nan Jorgensen, to pursue her love of acting. Joy has a passion for dance and for horseback riding. When she was younger, she performed with the Atlanta Dance Company. She hopes to have her American Saddlebred horse, Thomas, ready for shows next year. Graduating high school at the age of fourteen, Joy is continuing her studies in preparation for college.

KYLE MACLACHLAN: Orson HodgeKyle MacLachlan is an actor who has brought indelible charm and a quirky sophistication to some of film and television's most memorable roles. Last season he could be seen on In Justice. On the small screen MacLachlan starred in Mysterious Island. He is perhaps best known for his performance in Twin Peaks, for which he received two Emmy nominations and a Golden Globe Award. He also starred for two seasons on Sex and the City. MacLachlan recently played in Touch of Pink. The New York Times praised his performance. MacLachlan returned to television in The Librarian: Quest for the Spear. In the Fall of 2003, MacLachlan made his Broadway debut in The Caretaker. The play was nominated for Best Revival of a Play by the Outer Critics Circle. MacLachlan made his London stage debut in the Fall of 2002 in On an Average Day on the West End. MacLachlan made his feature film debut in Dune. This was followed by his second collaboration with Lynch in Blue Velvet. He starred in Hamlet (2000). MacLachlan was also featured in Timecode and in One Night Stand. He portrayed legendary keyboardist Ray Manzarek in The Doors and starred in The Trial. Other work includes The Trigger Effect, The Flintstones, Showgirls and Rich in Love. MacLachlan starred in the award-winning film, Against the Wall and in Roswell. MacLachlan made his directorial debut in 1993 with an episode of Tales from the Crypt.

DANA DELANY: Katherine MayfairDelany made her mark as Army Nurse Colleen McMurphy on ABC-TV's critically acclaimed China Beach, for which she received four Emmy nominations and two Emmy Awards for Best Actress. A Stamford, Connecticut native, Delany graduated from Wesleyan University, and then went to New York, where she honed her skills in daytime television drama and theatre. She starred in the Broadway show A Life and received critical acclaim in a number of off-Broadway productions. Her starring role in Bloodmoon led to her arrival in Los Angeles for the west coast production of the controversial drama. Opting to stay in LA after the run of the play, Delany was soon cast in popular television shows, including Moonlighting and Magnum, P.I., as well as in the movies Tombstone, HouseSitter, Live Nude Girls, Exit to Eden, Light Sleeper, Moon Over Parador, Masquerade, Patty Hearst, Where the River Runs Black and Almost You. Other television credits include Shake, Rattle & Roll, True Women, Resurrection, The Patron Saint of Liars, and For Hope. Delany also starred in Choices of the Heart: The Margaret Sanger Story, Sirens, Rescuers: Stories of Courage and The Right Temptation. She is the voice of Lois Lane on The New Batman - Superman Adventures! In 2000 she completed a tour-de-force performance in the Pulitzer Prize-winning play Dinner with Friends, alternating roles in New York, Los Angeles and Boston. She also produced and starred in Double Jeopardy. Delany shone in Pasadena. She followed that up with the griping Presidio Med. She also co-starred in Conviction. In 2003 Delany joined Doris Roberts in the A Time to Remember, and appeared in the big screen in Spin. A year later she treaded the boards in Much Ado About Nothing at San Diego's Old Globe Theatre, and captivated

audiences in the Baby for Sale. She has also guest starred in Law & Order: SVU, Boston Legal, Kojak, The L Word and Related. Most recently Delany starred in Kidnapped.

LYNDSY FONSECA: Dylan MayfairBorn and raised in Northern California, Fonseca and her family relocated to Los Angeles when, at thirteen years of age, she landed the role of Colleen Carlton on the award-winning CBS daytime drama, The Young and the Restless. After ending her commitment on The Young and the Restless, Fonseca went on to recurring roles on some of television’s hottest shows, including award winning Boston Public, How I Met Your Mother and Big Love. Most recently she was a series regular on Waterfront. She can also be seen as a guest on the hit series House and CSI. On the big screen Fonseca starred in The Beautiful Ordinary. Beautiful Ordinary premiered at the Los Angeles Film Festival in June 2007 to rave reviews. Fonseca currently resides in Los Angeles. She spends her free time in dance class and acting class, as well as hiking, singing and hanging out with friends.
