Think about counting forwards and backwards from 1-20! How many different ways can you do this? Could you whisper the numbers? Could you stomp your feet as you count? Be creative! Could you challenge yourself to place the numbers in the correct order onto a number line? Are there any numbers missing? What are they? Use the pegs in the picture or if you have your own use them! Take a look at the pegs you have got.. can you sort them into; size, colour, mass, material? How many different combinations can you find? Sometimes there can be lots of socks that need match up after the washing has been done! Count in 2s by matching up socks and pairing them together! What total number of socks have been washed? Did you find any odd socks? What day was it yesterday, today, tomorrow? Use a stop watch to time yourself how long it takes to write your name. How much longer does it take you to write the numbers 1-20? Find a clock in your house. Do you recognise the numbers on it? Cover some up, which numbers are missing?
