Blend all other ingredients except the fresh Coriander, once blended add to the ground seeds in the mixing bowl, add the finely chopped the Coriander and add to the mixing bowl, mix all the ingredients together and place on a dehydrator sheet. Dehydrate for up to 12 hours or more until dry. Take out of the dehydrator and store in a container ready for you to snack on when you want, Guacamole makes a great addition to this snack bread. Use oven and bake on low temperature if you do not have a dehydrator.) (Spicy Olive and Sundried Tomato Raw Snacker Bread) (Here’s wishing you all an awesome spring. The flowers are beginning to bloom, the sun stays out for a few more welcomed hours and starts to give us a bit more heat to enjoy the day with. The best food we can fuel our bodies with is locally grown and seasonal produce, this keeps us in tune with natures design and will provide the body and mind with all it needs to function optimally. What’s In Season Now?Swede, cabbage, parsnips, leeks, brussel sprouts, purple sprouting broccoli, rhubarb, kale, celeriac, radishes, spring greens, red cabbage and beetroot.ENJOY.The yoga health coach) (Great Snacks ) (Great Snacks Blog) (From The Yoga Health Coach) (Spring 2013) (Great Snack Super Juice) (Equipment – Single Auger Slow Juicer or any JuicerIngredients:2 – 5 Apples (depends how sweet you like it)2 – 3 Celery Stalks1 – 2 Cucumber6 leaves of Kale½ Bunch of Mint Put all ingredients through the juicer, ideally you will be using a slow masticating juicer such as a Green Star or Champion Juicer for optimal nutrition and vitality. Note: ½ bunch of mint maybe too much for some but not enough for others, Pitta dosha loves mint, as it’s a cooling herb so you guys may want to throw the whole bunch in.) (Coconut & Cardamom Dream MylkEquipment – High Speed Blender, Single Auger Slow Juicer.Prep – Soak the chia and sesame seeds for at least 2 hours first. Soak the Dates for a couple of hours.Ingredients:1 ½ Mature Coconuts½ Cup of Sesame Seeds and Chia Seeds (Soaked for 2+ Hours)2 + Dates (depends how sweet you like it)6 Cardamom Pods1 Pinch Of Himalayan Sea Salt800ml Spring WaterIf you have a vertical single auger juicer (e.g. Hurom) you simply place all the above ingredients except the sesame seeds and chia seeds along with a liter of water through the juicer and you will get an amazing nut mylk (make sure to use a Ladle to add part water with each input of solids, not just all solids followed by all the water). Add the mylk (or all the ingredients if you have not used a juicer by this point), with the seeds to a high-speed blender (e.g. Vita mix) blend till smooth then serve and enjoy.Note – If you blended all the ingredients to make your smoothie either sieve the ingredients or use a nut mylk bag to remove any excess fiber or shells.) You will discover how best to balance those tastes for yourself. ) (winter 2013) (The Yoga health coach) (Here’s to Great Health)
