Into Our Hands “Fire Affected Communities Learning Together” Program Dates and Venues Community Skills Development Program 2012 In the submission to the Community Advisory Committee (CAC) of the Victorian Bushfires Appeal Fund (VBAF) from the communities affected by the 2009 bushfire in the Alpine & Indigo Shires & the Rural City of Wangaratta in north east Victoria, five priority projects were identified to help the communities move through the medium and long term recovery stages. Community Skills Development Program 2012

In the submission to the Community Advisory Committee (CAC) of the Victorian Bushfires Appeal Fund (VBAF) from the communities affected by the 2009 bushfire in the Alpine & Indigo Shires & the Rural City of Wangaratta in north east Victoria, five priority projects were identified to help the communities move through the medium and long term recovery stages.

One of these priorities was the establishment of a Community Foundation.

This Community Skills Development Program is designed to build skills within the communities to ensure good governance of the fund.

The Community Skills Development Program will assist us with skills to manage the Community Foundation & encourage greater involvement throughout our communities.
