How to register the iClicker for IDS 3309 – Summer 20181. Point to iclicker.com. This home page will appear. Click where it says, “Register a Remote.”

2. Fill in dialog boxes as shown, then click on link that says “register directly on our website in last paragraph in the blue type box.

3. Fill in every dialog box, using your name as it is registered in PantherSoft. Use only your FIU email address. Click register button and you should receive a confirmation screen.

Some things to know and avoid . . .1. If you buy a used clicker, you will be required to pay a small fee for registration. It’s about $7.2. Even if you have registered your clicker in another semester, you still should register it for this semester.3. Follow these instructions and do not register for REEF if you can avoid it.4. Do not look for this class on the iClicker website; it is not there. Follow these instructions only.5. You are responsible for bringing extra batteries.6. You are responsible for having a registered and operable clicker THE SECOND WEEK.7. Registering late is not an excuse to delay buying a clicker. It means you must hurry.8. The FIU bookstore ALWAYS runs out of clickers. That is NOT an excuse.

FINAL NOTE: Amazon and other online retailers sell the iClicker, often at lower prices than the bookstore, which ALWAYS runs out and backorders more, which delays delivery by 3 to 7 days. A bookstore backorder is NOT an excuse not to have the clicker THE SECOND WEEK. Amazon often offers 2-day FREE delivery to students at the start of semesters. We suggest you do this BEFORE THE SECOND DAY. Again, if you don’t have the clicker the first time we need it, you will receive a zero for that exercise or quiz.
