He told us that students knew that analogues could not be detected in urine drug testing used by schools/probation/etc.

- Since, the Cass County Drug Task Force has worked multiple investigations into those ordering fentanyl analogue powders from the darkweb, dissolving it into solution, and distributing it among area young people.
Why is this dangerous?
- Fentanyl and it’s analogues are extremely potent. Dosages are in micrograms.
- Fentanyl is 50 to 100 times more potent than morphine.
- The difference between a normal dose and overdose could be a microgram (0.0000001 gram).
- Fentanyl analogues cannot be detected in most drug tests.
- Fentanyl analogues cannot be detected by drug sniffing dogs.
- Any exposure, whether intentional or unintentional, could result in overdose. Overdose could likely result in death.
What to look for:
Fentanyl and fentanyl analogues are very powerful substances. They are very fast acting. The physical effects should be noticeable, if you know what to look for.
