Literacy-WritingTo help children develop their vocabulary and rhyming skills complete activity below. Children need to identify words that rhyme-children do find this difficult and will naturally just want to say words that have the same sound at the start but lots of reminders that it is the middle and end sounds that need to be the same can help them.If they do really struggle then rhyming books and the Cake Bake game in Phase 1 on Phonics Play are really helpful to practise hearing thee rhyming words.

Art and DesignLearning about our new topic ‘Under the sea’, can you create a fish using a cd, decorate your fish with different coloured paper, glitter, sequins. You could have a look at the book ‘The Rainbow Fish’, this will give you an idea on how you could decorate your fish. Follow the instructions below.
