2016 Lilliput Summer Programs 2016 Lilliput Summer Programs Lilliput Summer Camp! Explorers For Children ages 2.9 – 6 And Toddlers 15 months-2.9 Registration Opens March 1, 2016 Prices & Times on Registration Form To Register Call: 508-842-0430 Lilliput’s Summer Camp Programs are filled with age appropriate outdoor games, physical challenges and other activities related to different weekly themes. Our Summer Camp offers endless socialization opportunities, in a fun, safe and trusted environment. Our own experienced and highly qualified teachers continue the superior quality of care through the summer. The emphasis for our Summer Camp is on science, arts and crafts, outdoor games and music and movement activities at developmentally appropriate levels for each age group. Your children will have a blast! So please send them in comfortable play clothes and sneakers for running, jumping and climbing so they can be successful with the physical challenges. Please apply plenty of sun- block on your child before they come because we will be moving and grooving outdoors as much as possible under the lovely summer sun. Week 1: June 6-10 “Digging for Dinosaurs” Be a paleontologist and dig up some ancient lost dinosaur bones. Join us in a dinosaur romp by crawling, flying, stomping and moving your body like your favorite dinosaur in a prehistoric relay. Our dinosaur games, activities and figurines are ready to engage your child’s imagination this week! Lunch extended hour available (week 1 ) to 12:30 Week 2: June 13-17 “Discovery Zone” Be a crazy scientist and discover the mystery of bubbles. Explore different textures and materials in a hands-on learning environment. Mix strange concoctions, make predictions and be ready for some surprising results. This is a fantastically, messy & creative week! Lunch extended hour available (week 2) to 12:30 Week 3: June 20-June 24 “ In the Garden” Children will learn about plants a how they grow. We will start seeds for gardens at home and watch a lima bean sprout its roots and leaves. Did you know t plants can turn colors depending on the color of the water they drink? Week 4: June 27-July 1 Wow…Things That Fly!” Soaring through the b sky, as natur beautiful birds and fascinating bugs go by, we learn from them and try different ways to make & create things that fly. Please note we are closed July 4-8 Week 5: July 11- July 15 “Beach Week” Yahoo! Bouncing beach balls, building beautiful sand castles, playing the Frisbee toss, and the hula-hoop challenge! Many more beach games to enjoy. Lilliput’s treat one day this week, is Ice-cream! Children can cool off from the busy beach week & summer heat with a frosty treat, yummy! Week 6: July 18-22 “Westward Hoedown” Children come saddle up and get ready for some wild western adventures, yee-haw! Sift for shimmering gold, and count your

Week 5: July 11- July 15 “Beach Week” Yahoo! Bouncing beach balls, building beautiful sand castles, playing the Frisbee toss, and the hula-hoop challenge! Many more beach games to enjoy. Lilliput’s treat one day this week,

is Ice-cream! Children can cool off from the busy beach week & summer heat with a frosty

treat, yummy!

Week 6: July 18-22 “Westward Hoedown” Children come saddle up and get ready for some wild western adventures, yee-haw! Sift for shimmering gold, and count your riches. Hear the beat & move your feet joining us in a square dance/doe-see-do with a partner! Discover how tall a horse is and much more!

Week 7: July 25-28 “Bugs, Bugs Galore”Creepy, crawly, flying, fascinating, magnificent bugs! Learn about the many insects that live around us and the

important jobs they do. Join us on a bug safari as we try to catch some bugs in our backyard to study then release at the end of the week. Create your own supper bug with wings, multiple eyes, antenna, legs, and hair or slime.
