Friday: Big Idea: I can fluently add and subtract within 10 (quickly – no fingers)a. You have played some fun fluency games these past weeks. Choose one of your favorite games to play.

1. Look back in previous lesson plans for a favorite link.2. Choose to find your own fun game. 3. Using your flashcards of sums to 10, see how fast you can go through all your cards. Try and get faster

each time you do them. Challenge a parent or a sibling to see who can get the fastest time! Even challenge yourself to see if you can beat your last time.

Rain Cloud Finger StampingCut out rain clouds from paper. Using blue paint or stamping ink, use a finger to make the raindrops falling from the clouds. Create a number sentence to go with the total number of raindrops made for each cloud.

Ladybug Spots

Make a ladybug using the pattern included in the resources file or from supplies you have at home. Color dots on each side of the ladybug’s wings. Write a number sentence to show the total number of dots the ladybug has altogether.

Watermelon Seeds

Using a paper plate and two different color beans (white and black), create a slice of watermelon. Write a number sentence showing how many black and white seeds there are on the watermelon slice.
