Chocolate Almond Protein Breakfast (or dessert) Mousse (Soy Free/Dairy Free/Vegan) By Ellie @ Healthy Belly Ellie The reason I call this a “breakfast mousse” is because it is SUPER filling! This would definitely work as a wonderful dessert or snack though! Ingredients: ¾ cup plain cultured almond yogurt (cultured coconut yogurt would probably work as well) ¼ cup unsweetened almond milk ¾ of a scoop of good tasting chocolate protein powder (I used Vega One Chocolate) 1 tbs. smooth almond butter 1 tbs. unsweetened cacao powder Procedure: 1. Mix all the ingredients into a bowl. Stirring for a couple of minutes so all the ingredients are well mixed together and smooth! 2. Enjoy right away, or refrigerate for a couple of hours for a more “mousse-y” texture!

Chocolate Almond Protein Breakfast (or dessert) Mousse

(Soy Free/Dairy Free/Vegan)By Ellie @ Healthy Belly Ellie

The reason I call this a “breakfast mousse” is because it is SUPER filling! This would definitely work as a wonderful dessert or snack though!

Ingredients: ¾ cup plain cultured almond yogurt (cultured coconut yogurt would

probably work as well) ¼ cup unsweetened almond milk ¾ of a scoop of good tasting chocolate protein powder (I used Vega One

Chocolate) 1 tbs. smooth almond butter 1 tbs. unsweetened cacao powder

Procedure:1. Mix all the ingredients into a bowl. Stirring for a couple of minutes so all the

ingredients are well mixed together and smooth!2. Enjoy right away, or refrigerate for a couple of hours for a more “mousse-y”

texture!

BONUS – You can scoop this mousse into and empty ice cube tray, freeze for a couple of hours, and make it into individual mini frozen mousse bites! SO GOOD!
