Position: Administrative Assistant Grade: Kent Range 3 Responsible to: Office Manager Purpose of the Job: To provide general clerical or administrative support to the school under the direction or instruction of the Office Manager. Key duties and responsibilities: 1. Check KS1 & KS2 registers and identify missing children 2. Run attendance reports and issue letters accordingly 3. Provide the Families & Community Manager with administrative support 4. Provide administrative support e.g. photocopying, filing, shredding, emailing, completion of routine forms. This could be directly supporting the Senior Leadership team 5. Prepare and issue general letters, undertake office stationary orders 6. Undertake reception duties; act as first point of contact in response to telephone and face-to-face enquiries, sign in visitors 7. Update manual and computerised records/management information systems including SIMS, as required 8. First point of contact for sick pupils, liaise with parents/carers/staff, other general first aid duties. 9. Administrative support e.g. photocopying, filing, emailing, and completion of routine forms. This could be directly supporting the Senior Leadership Team. 10. Qualifications Good general education/NVQ in admin or other relevant qualification

Word processing qualification or equivalent

Qualified First Aider (or prepared to be trained as such)

SIMS experience (or prepared to attend training)
