SPHE:

This week I am encouraging you to create a time capsule, documenting things about you and your community during the Covid- 19 pandemic. I know some of you have started creating your own time capsule already. Well done!

The idea of a time capsule is to record a moment in time which you can look back on in years to come.

I have added a few pages here to give you ideas but I can email an entire pack to anyone who would like more.

Science:

This week I am setting you a challenge!

I want you to build a bridge that will hold the weight of a toy car. Use any materials you can find from around your house. Take note of what worked and what didn’t work. Take a picture of your final result and send it to me. Ask your family to join in the fun too!

PE:

In school we usually have an Active Schools Week, however this year we have Active Home Week. This year’s challenge is to come up with four ways to be active each day, adding up to 60 minutes or more over the whole day. You could learn a new skill, improve a skill, create a game or try some online activities using the links below. I know you will have lots of your own ideas too. Let me know how you get on!

It could be about your favourite book, person, film, hobby, football team, Disney character or a country. You could draw, paint cut out pictures to add into your book each day and you can present your masterpiece when school starts back.

If you are doing any other fun activities at home with you family such as baking, arts and crafts, experiments or exercise activities, take pictures or write about them and tell us all about them when we are back at school.

Remember to be good for your parent’s girls and to help out at home whenever you can.
