Our Aim
To enable young people who are furthest away from being work-ready to secure or take up enterprising and/or job opportunities, by improving their confidence and optimism and offering intensive support through the provision of solution focused mentors.
Awards Categories
In total there are 8 award categories for which you can submit an application. Please complete the attached application forms and return to Richard Beard at [email protected] by 10am on Monday 3rd September. All winners will be announced at the Celebration Awards on Wednesday 10th October at the Molineux Stadium, Wolverhampton.
Sponsor to be confirmed There are 5 awards in this category, one per local hub (Walsall, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Sandwell and Central). These awards are for young people who have demonstrated and achieved significant progression since receiving Talent Match support. The winners of these awards will be entered into the Brightest Star award, the winner of which will be voted for at the celebration event.
Brightest Star
Sponsor to be confirmedThe winners of the Shining Star award category will be entered into this award. This award will be voted for at the Celebration event on the evening of 12th October. Nominations will not be accepted for this award
Employer of the Year
Sponsor to be confirmedThis award is for an employer/organisation who has demonstrated outstanding commitment to supporting the Talent Match project and Talent Match young people.
Partner of the Year
Sponsor to be confirmedThis award is for a partner organisation/stakeholder who has demonstrated outstanding commitment to supporting the Talent Match project and Talent Match young people.
Mentor of the Year
Sponsor to be confirmedThis award is for a Talent Match Mentor who has demonstrated outstanding commitment to supporting Talent Match young people, proactively supporting them to achieve their goals and aspirations.
Application Guidelines All applications must be submitted and received by the deadline of 10am on Monday 3rd
September. Submissions received outside of this timeline will not be entered. All submissions must be in English and submitted on the official document. Applications must not exceed the stated word count. Incomplete entries will not be judged. Entries will be judged by a member of the Project team, a member of Talent Match
Steering Group, the relevant sponsor of the award and two young people. The judges decision will be final and no further correspondence will be entered into. Award winners will be announced at the Celebration and Awards evening on Wednesday
10th October 2018.
