A VISIT TO A DENTIST

It’s Sunday ,but Kelly is unhappy. She has a toothache. She cries a lot. Luckily her father is at home. He asks her what happened. She tells him that she has a toothache. The father decides to take her to the dentist.

Kelly tells her father that she is afraid that the doctor might give her an injection. Her father tells her not to worry. He tells her that an injection is not painful.

When they reach the dental clinic, Kelly’s father registers her name. They wait for nearly half an hour. When it is Kelly’s turn, she is very nervous. Fortunately her father accompanies her. He tells the dentist about the detail. After that, her father sits aside and waits for her.

The dentist says “Don’t worry little girl. Next time don’t eat too many sweets.” He applies some medicine onto Kelly’s gum. After a while, he pulls out her bad tooth and put a piece of cotton wool in her mouth. He shows Kelly her bad tooth. She feels very surprised that she doesn’t feel any pain. At the main door , her father pays the fees. After that they go home happily.

From that day on onwards, she does not eat any more sweets because she knows it is bad for her teeth.
