ZOOM Children’s Craft June 27 th The story of Jairus’ daughter Hello everyone, Well done last week with your Father’s Day Rockets….they were supersonic. This week our Bible story is about Jesus making a little girl better again. Her dad was called Jairus and he was very upset so he went to find Jesus to ask him to help his daughter and make her well again. When Jesus does something as special as this we call it a MIRACLE. I have drawn pictures of the people in the story. You can colour them in and then very carefully cut round them. If you want to you can make them into ‘stick puppets’ by using an old pencil, or a lolly stick, or even a twig from the garden. Attach your figure to the ‘stick’ and then you can act out the story! Pick up each ‘puppet’ as their names appear in the story. Pretend they are talking to each other. When the girls mum and dad are happy when Jesus makes her better perhaps you could make them dance? Here is the story. An important man called Jairus had a little girl who was very, very poorly and he was so sad. The little girl was lying on her bed. Her Mum was very sad too and she was crying.
