Title: Ski Trip Class Profile: 24 Students, 4 Groups (Each group consists 6 students) Description: Aims: To allow students to work collaboratively in groups. To enhance students' searching abilities. To give students an opportunity to get exposed to English in real life situations. To provide students a chance to present what they have searched. To make students exploit language usage through authentic materials. Procedures: The teacher gives students information about the task. The teacher presents students four options of ski trips. (These options are: Georgia -snow.ge- , Switzerland -en.ski- suiss.com-, Austria -www.nergfcx.com- and Bulgaria Bansko - banskoski.com-.) Each student draws a piece of paper on which an option is written. The groups are assigned anonymously based on their selection of the country names from the pot. Each group consists of 6 students. 2 of them are assigned to make research on accommodation and bookings of the country, 2 are on travel, 1 is on travel insurance and places for skiing and the other one is on places of attraction and places to eat. The group determine the distribution of roles according to headlines of the tasks as stated by the teacher before. The students make their researches sticking to the task they are bound to do by using websites. The whole group make discussion on the data they have collected. The students prepare a video which includes all the screenshots of websites they have used, photos and videos of the places they are supposed to search. Furthermore, they are supposed to

Individual Roles:

2 students look for accommodation and bookings on the internet.

2 students look for travel info.

1 student looks for places of attraction and places to eat.

After all the data is collected, the students gather what they have found and start preparing the video.

2 students write the text that will be recorded for the video. 2 students find visuals that will be used in the video. 1 student voices the text and records it. 1 student makes the video and shares it on YouTube.

Task Output:

The students prepares videos and upload them to YouTube. Then they share the links of the videos on Facebook group.
