Amazon rainforest This is the worlds largest tropical rainforest. It is crisscrossed by thousands of rivers.

In the Amazon rainforest there are lots of different types of animals to

be found , two examples are a Jaguar and Piranhas.Jauguars eat deer, crocodiles, snakes, frogs , fish , anything they can catch .

Pirahnas live in warm rivers, lakes and streams , especially in the Amazon basin . Piranhas shed there teeth and they live in packs.

Languages in Brazil

The main language is Portuguese with 98% of people using it in Brazil. There are 228 different languages in Brazil. There are over 209 million people living in Brazil.

Carnival in Brazil The carnival in Brazil happens every year before ash Wednesday.

People dance and party on the

Food in BrazilPiranha is one of the top 10 Brazilian dishes , it is barbequed meat. Guarana is a drink made out of small red berries and is one of the most famous drinks .Păo de Quijo is one of the most famous foods for Brazilians, it is cheese bread .

Christ the Redeemer is a statue of jesus in Rio de Janeiro . Its 98 feet tall and 92 feet wide . Its located at the top of the Corcovado mountain

Sugarloaf mountain is a landmark overlooking Rio de Janeiro. It is named for its shape .

We have also got a sugarloaf mountain in Wicklow . I climbed it
