Iain MacIntosh, WRHA member and former Chairman, BURC director and co-author of The Waverley Route Through Time, The Railways of Peebles Through Time and The Border Counties Railway Through Time is producing a series of artistic works depicting Steam and Diesel workings on the Waverley Route for release throughout 2014 and exclusively available from the Waverley Route Heritage Association.These will be released monthly throughout the year with the WRHA receiving %100 of the commission. Strictly limited to 50 pieces only for each artwork each piece is signed and numbered with a certificate of authenticity and comes pre mounted but not framed. Measurements for frames are shown with each piece.Available now:

Wave004001 February pre-order 2014.WAVE004000. ‘Rude awkening’ depicts unique V2 class locomotive 60813 rushing the bank at Newcastleton Station with a Canal Yard to Niddrie Yard fully fitted freight in late summer of 1962. Measurements for frame 485mm x 702mm, image size 336mm x 554mm.

WAVE 004001. V2 class locomotive 60816 setting off from Newcastleton with a class 2 stopping train from Carlisle to Edinburgh, again in 1962. Measurements for frame 505mm x 713mm , image size 355mm x 560mm.
