Numeracy and MathsAll children will be challenged at a pace appropriate to their learning. The children will be developing skills in:
Addition and subtraction to 10, 20, 100 or 1000.
Multiplication by 2, 5 and 10. Money Probability Measurement Continuing to develop mental
maths skills.
Interdisciplinary Topic
Children will be learning all about the Titanic. They will use all of their skills in learning, life and work and learning across the curriculum (including science, technologies, numeracy and health and wellbeing) to create and present a showcase

LiteracyAll children will be challenged at a pace appropriate to their learning. Children will be developing skills in:
• phonics and spelling, using a variety of active spelling strategies to enhance learning
• handwriting • reading, through books
corresponding to their book band and by exploring a variety of texts using different reading strategies.
• writing, developing vocabulary and structure.
• Looking at non-fiction texts throughout other curricular subjects

Learning Across the CurriculumScienceChildren will be learning about how plants grow and develop including what they need to survive. They will also learn all about water as a solid, gas and liquid.RMEChildren will be learning about the Pilgrimage of Hajj. They will link this to special journeys they have made or will make in their own lives.
Health and WellbeingBoth indoor and outdoor P.E lessons will take place on Monday afternoons and all children are encouraged to bring their gym kit for each session. They will be learning about athletics. We will be continuing the daily mile and would encourage parents to ensure their children have suitable clothing for this i.e. waterproof jacket.Children will be learning about the health and wellbeing indicators:
Included, Active and HealthyThey will continue to work towards keeping their minds and bodies healthy and will be learning about relationships.
