3.00.00 SCOPE OF WORK:

3.01 This section of the specification covers providing “Supply, Fabrication and Erection of MS chequered plates for ‘F’ point gates platform at Shimshapura” Malavalli Taluk, Mandya District Karnataka.

3.02 The existing MS chequered plates laid over ‘F’ point gates at Shimshapura which are provided for the movement of personnel for monitoring of water level and removal of weeds are completely worn out and it is very difficult to clean and remove the weeds from trash racks. It was found that most of the plates are worn out and large holes have been formed. It is also found that the chequered plates are not provided near the operating gates, which is dangerous and there are chances of slippage of personnel working, into flowing water. Hence from the safety point of view, it is proposed to replace all the worn out chequered plates with new ones.

3.03 Supply, Fabrication and Erection of MS chequered plates for ‘F’ point gates platform at Shimshapura details are being indicated in Price schedules.
