Paper Folding CardUsing a sheet of 8 x 8 paper pad
1. Place the sheet of paper plain side up and in a diamond shape onto your cutting mat2. Measure and make a mark at 6cm in from either side3. Draw a line from the bottom centre point through the mark to make a kite shape.
Cut out with scissors, scalpel or guillotine.
4. Place the sheet of paper with longest point at the top on your cutting mat. Use the lines on the cutting mat to ensure the sheet of paper is lined up correctly.
5. Using a ruler and scoring tool (or very, very lightly with a scalpel) score lines at the following increments from the top downwards

6. Turn the sheet of paper over so the pattern is facing upwards and the longest point is on the right. Fold the paper in concertina style using the score lines and fold the last 4cm under.
7. Trim off the excess on the top and then stick the layers together with glue to strengthen
8. Do the same with the other piece
