Mr. Robert Jones, Mayor101 Constitution DriveAugusta, Oregon 97628

Dear Mr. Robert Jones,

My name is Harrison Duggan. I own a landscaping business called Duck Landscaping. I would like for you to consider my company for the RFP that was stated for May 30 to September 30. The rest of the letter will explain why we believe we are the right company for this job. I want to personally go ahead and thank you for the chance for this job.

I just wanted to give you a few highlights of this proposal. I have a team of four, which is including myself. We would work on Sunday and Wednesday nights in eight-hour shifts. The wage that we receive per hour is 25 dollars an hour. A total of 2000 dollars a week would be needed for labor costs. A grand total of labor cost would equal out to $44,000. I wanted to go ahead and let you know the price of the labor.

Once again, thank you for the opportunity to present this proposal. If chosen, we would do everything in our power to make the landscaping is in awesome shape.

Sincerely,

Harrison DugganOwnerDuck Landscaping1234 Mower DriveGrass Valley, Oregon 97739

Our Proposed Schedule

Here at Duck Landscaping, we strive to do the best job we can. When we are given a job, we work until the job is done right. For the Augusta, Oregon job we would work on Sunday and Wednesday night. The team would start at 7:00 PM on Sundays and Wednesdays. We would finish at 4:00 AM of Mondays and Thursdays. At midnight of both nights, we would take our hour lunch break. We have determined that these are the times during the week where there is less traffic on the road. During those nights, we work a full eight hour shifts. Half of the job will be completed each night. If there is something that we did not finish or needs redone, just give us a call on Saturdays. We will be more than happy to look into it. We do not make mistakes, but we give ourselves Saturdays in case we do make a mistake or need more time.

Equipment We Use

The equipment we use to do our job is state of the art. The mower we use is the John Deere ZTrak mower. We have chosen to use this mower because of its zero turn radius. This helps us get as close to building and trees. The weed eater we use is the Stihl FS 70 RC-E. We chose this weed eater because of its starting technology. It can start up with one pull of the pull string. When we trim the hedges, we use the Echo HC-150. We chose this hedge trimmer because of its double-reciprocating blades.

The Company

Duck Landscaping has been in the business for over 40 years. We are a company in a small town just outside of Augusta, Oregon. We have had many big clients throughout the years. During the summers, the company does the landscaping for the University of Oregon. Both the chancellor and president of the university have shown their appreciation for what we do for the school.
