HONORS AND ADVANCED TOPICS PHYSICS SITES Mr. Hazlett’s favorites
The Physics Classroom
This excellent site was written for American High School Students by Tom Hendersen. The section which I read (on colour theory) was the best and most easily
understandable I have come across anywhere, and a quick look at other sections shows the same friendly style, care, and attention to detail. This site is still developing,
so you may not find everything you want at the moment - but it is definitely worth keeping your eye on.

Hyper P hysics A massive (and well-regarded) source of physics information, but possibly not for the faint-hearted. I suspect you would need to be reasonably confident about physics in
order to get the best from it. Try it and see whether you find it useful.
Fizzics Fizzle Your Interactive Guide to Physics!Fizzics Fizzle is a comprehensive guide to understanding the world of physics. It offers content on three difficulty levels:
Beginner - for students who have never been exposed to the world of physics before (appropriate for elementary or junior high school/middle school students); requires no math
Intermediate - covers the physics curriculum generally taught in high schools across the United States; requires algebra and basic trigonometry
Advanced - covers the physics curriculum generally taught in introductory college physics classes and high school Advanced Placement Physics C classes; requires basic calculus

Giancoli companion website
Companion Website for Physics: Principles with Applications, 6th Edition. Built to complement the text as part of an integrated course package, this site is a useful supplemental aid to your physics course. You will find the chapter questions and problems to email here.http://wps.prenhall.com/esm_giancoli_physicsppa_6/16/4350/1113739.cw/index.html
Hyper Physics Notes, problems, overview of just about all physics topics, also chemistry and mathematics. Also contains entire class calendars and homework assignments. Example problems, real life applications, tables, and video/demo sites. Included is hyper chemistry, and mathematics. Almost too much input.http://hyperphysics.phy-astr.gsu.edu/hbase/hph.html

Eric Weissteins world of Physics
Eric Weisstein's World of Science contains budding encyclopedias of astronomy, scientific biography, chemistry, mathematics, and physics. Definitions of terms for many branches of chemistry, derivation of equations, etc. Choose a discipline, a term, and you get definition or derivation. Choose a scientist, get bio. and much more.
