A. How to collect catchment data, map and its characteristics for hydrology chapter?1. `www.wbadmip.org Gis Web GIS(new) Water Resources Planning Chose district 2. Open the map with various layer3. Click Enhanced Locate wizard and give lat and long in Degree Decimal or Degree Minutes seconds(DMS).
4. Click Locate button and it locates on map with
5. Click find Catchment area tool
6. Click pour point and then place mouse on already located pin and then press submit , it will get Area of catchment in sqkm and value of Average C (for use in Rational formula based on LULC).
7. Take Print in A4 size from print tool [ kindly unblock the popup by clicking allow when browser prevent it]
Similarly to find LULC
8. Click Find land Use tool 9. Draw the area of catchment by picking free hand tool and moving mouse around the catchment boundary and then press submit button.
10. You get the table of LULC11. You may transfer the table by clicking on copy to clip board and pasting it in excel sheet and then paste the table in word file if necessary as belowAreaClass_name

12. Similar way you can find the water body within the catchment area by choosing Waterbody tool and by picking free hand tool and moving mouse around the catchment boundary and then press submit button. It will give total water body within the catchment or area of interest and total area of water body.
13. You may Use PET value of ISRO as available in our website in Water Resources Tool.14. Calculate water availability by apply suitable rainfall data and catchment area and c value using standard formula.
