software. A key feature of a webinar is its interactive elements — the ability to give, receive and discuss information. Participants from all over the world

participate. It is in contrast with a webcast, in which the data transmission is one way and does not allow

interaction between the presenter and the audience.”

• Plan in detail in background

• Not too long – present 30 min., break for questions, continue

• Duration: not longer than an hour – leave time for questions

• Encourage participants to post questions in chat box, communicate technical problems etc.

• Ask consent from speaker/presenter to record, to make presentation online available afterwards (CC)

• Practice technology

• Use tools on BBB (only presenter can see)

• Tell audience what you will be doing

• Typed questions: repeat and read out loud

• Turn off all phones and dogs (and cats )

• Use keywords only

• Same rules apply as in presentation in person

• Turn webcam off to save on bandwidth
