Jesus told His disciples before He left the earth to go to all the world and tell them about the good news of salvation. He also told them to make disciples of the people that accepted Him. To be a disciple is to be someone that is completely sold-out for Jesus. All Christians are disciples! This title is not reserved for a select ultra-spiritual band of Christians. But the question that everyone asks is, “How do I become sold-out for Christ?” It seems so hard to follow Jesus. What can I do to get closer to God, to learn more about my Savior, and to become a more effective servant for Jesus? The answer is
partly found through Cross Training.
The Cross Training program at MRBC is aimed at equipping you for effective service, deepening your relationship with God and others, and expanding your knowledge of the Christian faith. It is our prayer that by investing time in these discipleship courses you will become more
and more like Christ .

James: Mercy Triumphs James: Mercy Triumphs James: Mercy Triumphs James: Mercy Triumphs by Beth Mooreby Beth Mooreby Beth Mooreby Beth Moore
James' purpose throughout the epistle is for professed
Christians to test their faith to find out whether it is
genuine or false. He wants no one to be deceived.
Would you like to know who are the enemies of the true
God?
James has also given us one of the clearest calls to
salvation in all of Scripture. Come and see!

Ladies Bible Study: ResolutionLadies Bible Study: ResolutionLadies Bible Study: ResolutionLadies Bible Study: Resolution Like the men in the movie Courageous who
resolve to fully accept their responsibilities
before God, Shirer explains how today's women
can and should live out their own resolution. It is
"a defining banner that hangs over your life, written in the
ink of your own choices." A woman's banner should be an
accurate reflection of who she desires to be - someone
completely Christ-centered who blesses and changes
things in her world for the better.

We Band of Brothers BEHIND ENEMY LINES
(for men)
We Band of Brothers will commit to read Scripture
and pray for each other regularly over the next
twelve weeks. This is what brothers do, they battle
with each other and for each other. Jesus says,
“you are all brothers.” This is the relationship of
men who are followers of Jesus Christ, they (we)
are brothers.
The material is straight out of the Bible, no extra
writing by some modern preacher or theologian.
These are the words of an ancient warrior who knew
the battle believers face, the Apostle Paul. We need
good battle plans, which are given to us in God’s
Word. We need good fellow soldiers, which are
provided through the fellowship of other believers.
We need each other.

While the people and events of 1 Samuel are from long
ago and from far away, the struggles these men and
women faced are the same as ours today, as we seek
to live in a fallen world in a way that is pleasing to God.
There are many ways in which we can identify with
these ancient Israelites, and many lessons we can learn
from their successes and failures. Join us as we
continue our study in this amazing book.
