Website ResearchOf similar genre artists
Paramore’s Website
This is a very visual website design. It incorporates the bands logo in the top left corner as well as using the same font for the page action buttons. The website clearly shows the bands current news, photos and upcoming show dates.
The Website has a simple clean look with the artists name being the main focus of the page.
Her website is very art focused with her album art being the main event on the page.
The website is hard to navigate however as the navigation controls disappear when you move through the page, which is one thing to consider when designing my own.
The titles of her album and the her name are always hand written which keeps her theme constant throughout her brand.
The tour dates have their own space underneath the album page which could be confusing to the user as they are hard to find.
However the layout of each page is clean and fits with the artists genre.
This is the opening page of the Flume website. It introduces the artist and then it fades into the website infromation
The website background ties in with the artists latest album. This synergy is apparent across all of artists digital media.
This website is very simple as it is just a photo of the artist, however it doesn't’t have the artists name clearly which could be a problem for an unknown artist trying to market themselves. The website however is very easy to navigate with the right hand side pannel.
The font choice is quite straight for this artist unlike the handwriting used throughout Laura Morling site and products. All websites have straight links to their social media sites.
Again this site uses quite straight font which seems to be a theme of upcoming indie artists. The backgrounds are all quite plain. However the music video embedded on the site doesn't match in with the website design/ album cover.
